  1. Just sent you five to go along with the four I sent earlier. Still want more? I got a bunch of CMBO conversions, mostly from Wild Bill.
  2. Greetings Yes, still in Bretagne and planning on staying for a while. I got plans, man, big    plans. In and around, including Dinan / Dinard. Yep, saw that. Also know I.D. 77 was there, or what was left of it. The info on the Ost units is really helpful. Question - wasn't the 266th destroyed outside of Brest by the US 6th amrd, or was it only part of the unit? My source here is Zetterling. Not sure how accurate he is.
  3. Looking for any info on what units, and types, were present in St. Malo during August 1944. So far all I've found is that the independent 341st StuG brigade saw action there. I know none of the Panzer formations made it down that far, and as far as I can tell none of the 5 remaining divisions on the peninsula had any organic StuG / Marders in their OOBs. That said, I have read several accounts that mention German armored units in action there. A unit citation of the 2nd Bn, 330th IR credits them with several assault guns, SPGs and tanks from the fighting near St. Joseph's hill, while accounts describing the "lost battalion" at Dinard mentions being counterattacked by German tanks. Any help is appreciated.
  4. He's got 2 roadblocks and a strand of barbwire. What could possibly be taking him this long?
  5. Then don't turn around. Just keep looking forward and it will be over soon.
  6. Section 5, Frenchy is taking over for Ted. He has the start up for 'Loaded for Bear', and will be sending KR his setup. He is the allies in the other two games, so it is up to you to send him your latest file.
  7. You brown noser! That's an automatic 10 points added to your ROW score! BTW, I'm not going to be able to make it to Jeff's house. Something about a subpoena.
  8. Ah, but Moltke is not the best Berlin scenario he has designed. In fact, Moltke is only the 'front door' so to speak, to his Battle for the Reichstag. That one is a must play.
  9. I did 'Push to Maleme' although the map was designed by Franko. He also did 'Wet triangle' My original scenario for ROW V was 'if at first', but since we already had a Normandy scenario with 'Highlanders in Hell' I substituted it with Push.
  10. Is everyone up and running? Any problems? Let me know via e-mail Frenchy and Dangerousdave, You guys are (for the moment) our resesrves. If we get a few more volunteers we will place you in section 9 and get you started. Otherwise Spanish Bombs will drop you into whatever section needs a replacement (even the finalists if need be).
  11. The first in a series that will eventually cover the entire campaign for Brittany, TBC-Pontaubault is now available at the proving grounds. Following the capture of Avaranches on July 31st, units of the US 4th armored division were ordered to proceed south and secure the bridges spanning the Selune River at Pontaubault - the gateway into Brittany. At the same time a Kampfgruppe from the German 77th infantry division was marching north from St. Malo with the exact same orders. Medium size / ~4000 points total / 35 turns. Any feedback would be appreciated.
  12. Those aren't Tigers. They are most likely sound contacts for Italian L33 tankettes. Trust me...
  13. Actually, I prefer you send your files to the guys in section 7 -Section 4 Cuzn Ankulin Green as Jade BigDuke6 -Section 5 Kanonier Reichmann Big Dog The Enigma Ted -Section 6 Elmar Melnibone John O mPisi -Section 7 Diesel Taylor Stikkypixie John Bertles Sandy -Section 8 Sripe Michael Dorosh Other means Grimthane
  14. That's it, the third scenario just went out. The ROW V finals are underway! I am giving you guys a generous 120 day deadline to finish these 3 scenarios. That puts the deadline at...October 20th.-or-whenever the last finalist score is submitted, whichever comes first.
  15. Nope, and neither have the files for section 8. Let me just say that Real life sucks  Trying again tonight.
  16. It probably was, since Ace sent me a zettabyte's worth of AARs. Its all cleared up now.
  17. BigDuke is already in (section 4), but have not heard from Other means. He is now in section 8.
  18. No limitations whatsoever. This is (most likely) the last hurrah for the old engine, so I would like to give as many people as possible the opportunity to enjoy the ROW tournament. If you can commit to finishing 3 scenarios in the time alloted (which I will announce tomorrow) then by all means e-mail me. All I ask is that you do your best to finish your games, and to give your opponent hell.
  19. I have just now sent out 4 mass e-mails, one per side for 'St. Nazaire' and 'Tiger Valley', to sections 4 thru 7. Please e-mail me if you do not receive at least 2 e-mails from me within 24 hours. Still waiting on two more voluteers for section 8. Tomorrow evening the third and final scenario will be sent out, and the clock will start. I will announce the deadline at that time.
  20. Confucious says..."when one is contemplating a kiwi scenario, one must always consult Jon S"...
  21. You mean the one asking if there is still a spot available for the finals? Well, I think this should answer your question: -Section 4 Cuzn Ankulin Green as Jade BigDuke6 -Section 5 Kanonier Reichmann Big Dog The Enigma Ted -Section 6 Elmar Melnibone John O mPisi -Section 7 Diesel Taylor Stikkypixie John Bertles Sandy -Section 8 Sripe Michael Dorosh
  22. Real life has put a temporary hold on the release of the third scenario, but I am hoping to have it out by no later than Tuesday evening. This doesn't affect you in any way, since the deadline doesn't begin unitl the last scenario is sent out. Make good use of the extra time. Non-finalists, your scenarios will be sent out today.
