Dittohead replied to a topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
http://w1.312.telia.com/~u31213280/index.htm or you can do a search for asl maps if this does not work. They are also a member of the web ring. -

Barnes and Noble also has most of the Good reference material available online. Most of Jentz's stuff and others. Tony -

Lets not forget the Evils of communism either. Stalin was responsible for far more deaths then Hitler ever dreamed off. -

The firefly I believe does not have a fast turrent. Plus as long as the fireflys are with the traverse of the gun the Nashorns should be more accurate. A couple of questions - What was the distance involved and how wide was the map? Tony

CM2 and the Devil's Advocate
Dittohead replied to Steve Clark's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
Just remember by the time CM-2 comes out many players would have lost their jobs, wives and family members due to CM-1. Therefore a vast majority of players will be dealing with rebuilding their own pathetic lives instead of buying CM-2. BTS will be the target of a class action lawsuit by the wives of addicted players and may be to busy with trial lawyers to finish CM-2. oh the horror. So unless BTS starts providing marriage counseling they may very well be out of business in the not so distant future. Tony -

For your own safety thought I might point out that hamster packing is illegal in all 50 states. -

Does anyone know anything about CM2
Dittohead replied to a topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
Geez this stuff is all Greek to me. -
Was they regulars or vet troops? Could be related to the other thread about the accuracy of AA guns vs bunkers in general. Tony

Also please note that CM-3 will cover the great hamster vs chinchilla wars. CM-4 covers Earth vs the Flying monkeys. Any question? I didn't think so. -
CM Battle in your own neighborhood!

I think it is the house with the years supply of electrical tape and 50 cages of hamsters in the backyard. -

Nashorn - why use it in CM?
Dittohead replied to Andre76's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
Just for fun I set up a battle between 4 vet M4 shermans and 4-vet Nashorns at 1.5 KM. Results as follows for ten battles. Number shown is how many survived - time to complete. Nash/M-4 3-0 37 sec 0-2 66 sec 0-1 63 sec 3-0 27 sec 0-3 34 sec 0-2 34 sec 2-0 26 sec 4-0 40 sec 3-0 55 sec Nash 6 Sherman 4. Well back to real battles. Tony -

You know you've played too much CM when...
Dittohead replied to Daveman's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
As I continue my crackdown on the assorted furry vermin found infesting this board I would like to add the following. 1.) You start believing that hamsters, voles, chinchillas, naked mole rats, flying monkeys, swallows(both African and European), were all involved in WWII. And base entire threads on their actual combat abilities. If it gets any worse I'll have to break out my BFHG 9000 uberweapon to clear this area out. Tony -
Whataya mean according to our Lying, Liberal, Draft dodging, womanizing, cheating, etc. etc President, Kosovo was an unqualified success. Couldn't pass this up. Tony

It appears that our forum has been siezed by a bunch of hamsterphobes and hamsterphiles. It seems that every subject for discussion lately has degenerated into people wanting to shake various parts of hamsters and gerbils at each other. Disgusting perverts. Now all this talk about gerbils and hamsters is making me hungry. Time to fire up the grill and have me a Machamster or Macgerbil on a Kaiser roll. Tony(member of PETA - People Eating Tasty Animals)

2 stories from the same scenario
Dittohead replied to Juardis's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
Well your first story reminds of something I read in a book. Can't remember which, but German Youth were given PF and would often pop up kill a tank and then try to surrender. Story was in Normandy I think, where a British Lt.in the tank behind his Sgt, saw this youth jump up with PF in hand and kill his SGt and his tank. He was so pissed when the youth tried to surrender he cut him in half with his .50 cal. So it can happen. If it's in the game it's in the game! Tony -
One book would be "Commando Extraordinary" A Biography of Otto Skorzeny by Charles Foley. Published by The Noontide Press - War and Warriors Series Tony
