I am up for a game. Scenario or quick battle is fine with me. I will play either side. Email should be in my pofile.

Don't feel bad Harry, I stumbled on it myself some time ago by accident.

If you choose March 44 in the CMAK editor you will get the 44 TO&E for Normandy airborne units. After choosing your allied units you can then change the date to your battle date I believe.
-
You are not the first one and won't be the last one to make that mistake. I have no idea about the mortar BMP although someone else had the same problem a few months ago. Email on the way with the bmp.

The only thing I can think of would be to try shift-r and see if you have the roofs turned off.

John N replied to Marcin T's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Marcin, above the terrain icons is an arrow pointing down. Select the arrow and it will take you to more terrain choices including the walls and fences. -

Success with Mapping Mission
John N replied to RockinHarry's topic in Combat Mission - Tips and Tricks
Harry, you might try the 30.82 drivers for your card. I was able to use MM to transfer maps larger than 2x2 km with the same card. After upgrading to a better card no such luck. At the time I was running a p4 2.6 and an MX 440 with windows XP home edition. [ November 28, 2005, 07:07 PM: Message edited by: Turbo ] -

OSF : A Campaign & Mod for CMBB
John N replied to eichenbaum's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
If you have the hard drive space I would suggest a second install of CMBB. I have had no problem with Operation Storfang although some did. The operation and scenarios are very well done and the graphics are excellent. Thanks to Nils and all of the team members. -
I had the same problem that you have when I was using aol. I found that the files were not complete. Try having your opponent resend the file without replaying the turn. It usally worked the second time around. As Redwolf stated check the text, they should have end of PBEM file at the end I believe.

Bulidings disappear on big maps
John N replied to Blue Streak's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Try changing your horizon range with Shift-H. I am not sure if it will work but it is worth a shot. -
It is quite simple. Duning an orders phase of your PBEM game save the game. Then open the save and choose TCP/IP and your ready to go.

You'll shoot your eye out Ralphie!

I Need 3 Original Sound Files
John N replied to MeatEtr's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
On thier way. I have the same problem with the disc, all I can see is the installer. -
I just read your post over there. First, while you have OSF open you will not see any CMBB scenarios. You need to go to operations to start Storfang. If you start up CMBB you should find that all of your scenarios are there. Hope this helps.
-
Actually I am quite impressed with the work that he and his team have acomplished. Also they have made a patch for it, have you tried it? An easy way to not mess up your CMBB files is to make a seperate folder for Operation Storfang and copy all of your CMBB files into it. And thankyou Eichenbaum and team for all of the work that you put into this.

It's not just you, I have been unable to bring it up all day.

Map design : enlarging maps
John N replied to Thin Red Line's topic in Combat Mission - Scenario Talk
Use the shift key with the enlarge key, this will expand the map west and south.
