  1. Where all good things are Cm Mods
  2. iirc Grog Dorosh on his Grossdeutschland web site had some thin targeting lines. Under Misc Mods
  3. yep, bmp's manually into the BMP folder. The jpg's are put there by some modders to give you a image of what the mod looks like in game. Those you can throw away. Or save and collect and trade them with your friends One day, in the not so distant future you too will be a Mod-Slut™. Abandon hope. [ March 27, 2003, 11:30 AM: Message edited by: jdmorse ]
  4. The FAQ is at http://www.battlefront.com/cgi-bin/bbs/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=23;t=004792 Nevermind provided the link where it says 'FAQ' As for the setup, when you first start the units are usually just placed in line. Or where the designer default is. if they are any color other than orange and in a set up area, you can move and "deploy" them, any which way you like.
  5. I haven't seen this unit given a make over and I'd really like to see a winter variant ASAP. Even a slap dash whitewash would be okay. If some one has done one could you direct me. If not.. consider doing it. Thanks

  7. Relax. All should be well. Notifications will go soon I suspect. The "object moved" showed up for a number, if not all. Perhaps go to the forum and register (if you haven't already) and inquire there. But again, I suspect they have two applications from you already
  8. Well my mom graduated from CWU in 1946 or so. Sorry, Vancouver Wa (not BC for you geographical nincompoops ) is a bit of a way
  9. Hmmm they should be reversed if that is the same vehicle. have you found some majical technique or is it all smoke and mirrors
  10. Not other wise except as the banal faces of evil. In some ways, such pictures are even scarier than the traditional historical photos. It's like Hank Hill (King of the Hill - American TV show a la The Simpsons) stnading along the backyard fence having a beer and smoke with his buddies
  11. I don't think that's Rudolph Hess, here's his pic. [ January 31, 2003, 03:02 PM: Message edited by: jdmorse ]

  13. Great job Andrew. As always. If we want to create a Green jacket, white pants combo, like you show, what bmps need to be used? Looking at the green uni folder, it looks like it is all green. I suspect I know, but you probably can tell me faster. If I replace just 59282 with the white version, does that do it? [ January 03, 2003, 04:34 PM: Message edited by: jdmorse ]
  14. Did you check their overbites? Some serious dental problems there imho
  15. two items of etiqutte young sir, First try the Scenario Discussion Forum and be sure to avoid spoilers for those of us who haven't played it. Now you have given away info. Best to structure your post Spoiler Alert + + + + + + + + + + + + + then explain the problem....
  16. also thats why you sometimes see numbers on the rear of the turrents
  17. Reading this I flashed on the scene in Blazing Saddles. Where Cleavon Little takes himself captive "Okay no one move or the N_____'s gonna get it"
  18. Just use 'cancel target'... remeber the TacAI is always on. Despite your orders, if a greater threat is perceived your unit will shift on their own, or even run.crawl like hell! It's probably best to manually target when you are sure you want to focus on that particular one. Often better to leave it off and give your men their independence, unless clearly called for. Otherwise, they miss opportunity, because you forgot about them (esp in big ganes) and didn't cancel fire , esp area fire
  19. First the on board mortar. I try to ALWAYS use indirect fire. If they can see, they can be seen, inviting a lethal response. If they are out of LOS and in command radius of HQ (and both 'unhidden' )they will not switch smoke rounds. However, it seems that the Tac AI will switch to HE for AFV's certainly and probably for mortars regularly when there are spotted units in LOS. A way to deal with this is use the covered arcs. For your tanks set a narrow angle 'armor only' covered arc to cover the area where you want the smoke to hit. I suppose a similar reg covered arc could be used for the mortars, but obviosuly if there are any enemy units in the arc, your mortar would open up on them. Thats why using indirect morar fire is advantageous. safer, more efficient and greater control. [ December 27, 2002, 01:05 PM: Message edited by: jdmorse ]
  20. I am tired of these know-nothing reviews. Sheesh
  21. Ahhh Christmas.... When the far traveling and long absent family members return to wish their sprawling and dysfunctional family Merry Christmas and the best for a new year.......... Then realize how much you really can't stand them, Uncle Joe over in the corner, eggnog on his vest telling everyone how he singly fought the Jerries in the "Big One", and that strange boy Mace ...You know Aunt Veras's son, the one that smells vaguely of lamb, over in the corner with that smirk on his face and his pants pulled high above his waist, then there is cousin Seanachai prattling on about this and that and no one is listening. And that MrSpkr Never thought he'd get out of law school, let alone find a job. Of course working at the local Deli is respectable. I am sure his parents are happy with having co-signed his student loans. Then there's Hiram they say their was some unpleasantness with him back east..... Then there are others, people you don't even remember, or care to. And a bunch of young'ins, runnning around, shedding their clothes til only their diapers remain, tearing everything apart and You know.... when the room starts to spin, and you have to get away outside to find some fresh air.... Those kind of family gatherings..... Christmas for the Holidays..... Friends, family and spiked egg nog...and to all a good night. Yet even no matter how far afield we go, or hear complaints we never call or stop by anymore, that we are just too busy to remember were our roots are....we still return, we still know that amongest it all, this is home. Best ya all NOW, SOD OFF! [ December 24, 2002, 11:40 AM: Message edited by: jdmorse ]
