1. HEY GUSTAV! How about getting around to sending me the file you lazy bum!
2. Hello, I'm getting mails returned as undelivered. "Your message is being returned; it has been enqueued and undeliverable for 1 day to the following recipients" I'll resend, hope it goes through, but if you have another address get it to me.
3.
quote:
Originally posted by Banshee: I once thought I loved you guys, but it turned out I had just spilled coffee in my lap.

Doh! Hmmmm, just one credit card bill in our entire relationship, this can't be love!
4. Wild bill, we love your work and greatly appreciate the effort you have put into our hobby. When I heard you (and Los, Fionn, and other raiders) would be working on scenario design and beta testing I was phsyched. This game absolutely rocks and I believe you helped it to do so. Thanks for everything.
5. I generally find 20 turns leaves me pressed, I prefer at least 30. I've really enjoyed the longer scenario's but they've only gone 40 turns or so anyways so having the extra 20 or so turns was unnecesarry (as yet) I'm not sure I'm the one to ask though as I really got into a 4 month long game of chance encounter with an opponent who couldn't spare much time.
6. I heard "unfinished business" the next edition to the jagged alliance games has finally got a distributor for Europe. I would hope we won't have to wait too long for it here in the states.

8. fry's has lots of cool stuff but it's game sectin was pitiful. or is it just that games in general are pitiful?
9. Hello Aussie You definitely want this game. BTS has managed to make a game that is both realistic and playable. It complately fills my tactical wargaming needs.
10. Hey guys, I live in Cardiff. And I definitely would like to get on any CM lan partys that go down locally. If any of you know north county, I frequent the daily double aka the saloon in downtown encinitas. Let's drink!
11. What was great about the tank guy was watching him run amok through areas I used to call home. When I wen't to SDSU I had an apartment around 4 blocks away from where he stole the tank from.
12. I agree completely. ------------------ I now stand upon the alter of defeat and in utter disgrace http://users1.50megs.com/lokesa/
13. I recently saw a gun hit display on an enemy jumbo only to get blown to pieces a moment later by it. Talk about a let down ------------------ I now stand upon the alter of defeat and in utter disgrace http://users1.50megs.com/lokesa/
14. I think so, if only to give your opponent the satifaction of zooking it
15. Sorry, perhaps that one was a little tasteless and without tact. Priest, send me a file so I can make you eat that filthy map [This message has been edited by Darwin (edited 10-20-2000).]
16. It's all about So Cal, Dago will rule over your sissie frisco asses
17. Wow, thanks for the link. I remember checking the forum once or twice a month
18. LOL that tactic does work rather well, but it doesn't necesarally have to be crews. I guess with a name like "gamey" they would though...
19. YO JOE! Beware the crimson guard, they're key in Cobra's new plan to take over the world. Welcome.
20. Anyone playing Baldurs gate II? It looks pretty cool...
21. I've found that it is hard for me to be "up" for most matches and only really play well when I get a good thrashing for my impertinance early in the game or when my opponent states how much they will enjoy defeating me, etc. Another thing I've noticed is that my games seems to follow a rythm, either I'm kicking ass all over the place or all of my games are going to poop. It seems if I have one game that I really want to win and get pschyed for I do well in all my concurrent games but once I finish the game I got "up" for I relax and all my games go downhill. How to get away from being under another players thumb... Sometimes it seems as though regardless of relative abilities one player just has the others number. Good players pull newbie moves in frustration and get whacked. It is difficult to step away sometimes, but each game is new. There is nothing in the code making one players units superior to another players units of same type. If one can seperate the game from those proceding it and just follow sound tactics, do what you know to be the right move even when your anxiety screams otherwise, you have a chance. I guess I don't have anything specific to say upon these issues but for me they are the part of the game I think about most and I was hoping to hear others thoughts and opinions on them.

Herr Oberst has constructed a magnificent piece here truly worthy of your use as a template until something more degrading comes along. Carry on. p.s. Oberst your name is not recognized by the spellchecker, you might want to get with Madmatt on this.
23.
quote:
Originally posted by kking199: It would be nice if the "Scenario and Command Briefings" for the scenarios were consistent in format. Sometimes they are and sometimes they are not. It may be me, but sometimes the Scenario briefings give too much info away... so it influences my strategy for an unfair advantage for me. I guess this really pertains to the "Historical" scenarios

Snipped a bit there... Like Germanboy was saying, the scenarios were done by different people. Some give a lot of detail, some minimal and some give misleading info. Personally, I like that aspect. Throws another wrench in the gears not knowing if you can trust the breifing.
24. EVERYONE ON THE GROUND! NOW!!! This thread is being highjacked. Nobody moves, nobody gets hurt... Hey David, cool button.
