I know off topic but i need to find this game
Darwin replied to Titan's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Hey Titan, Can't help with your request but do suggest "steel panthers world at war" if you haven't already played it. It is free to boot. PS I haven't played but 3 or 4 times since our last engagement but, as our last game was a streak breaker perhaps I owe you a few for honour's sake? Not that I will just roll over for ya though. E-mail has changed to cannibalized@home.net if interested PSS CMBB will be out soon, save a battle or two and maybe an operation for me if you could please. -
Nice, nice, nice. Both on the model to begin with and it's beautiful incarnation into CM. Isn't it nice just perusing the vehicle list. I try not to think about CMBB. It will eventually be here and I will enjoy it...

Hi Cani (wierd i go under cannibalized elsewhere, canni for short) I believe that as a broad generalization of how the software industry works, your statement is true. I don't think it is the case at all for BTS. The thing about BTS is that the programmer owns the company. On top of that they are freaks about the subject matter of the games they make. The people they have hired since their inception were more freaks off this very forum There is allways a risk of them becoming more suceptable to such problems as they grow but I think we can expect the company to remain focused on their software rather than marketing for a long time yet. Ramblin on, I'm out.

I used to play at Chain of Command at 2am. I miss it's simplicity sometimes. No idea as to 2am's current status.

how about sending him the set up and then going over to his house and showing him step by step how to use the attachment you sent him then how to mail the return file. -

Very mucho excellente senor Moon! Congrats on a cool ass job -
I've had some great pbem's in the snow but will never pick such conditions myself due to the eyestrain. That mod did look nice enough to possibly change that.

You can rest your melon now. I have your answer. Yes #7 was indeed brought up several times before the release of the beta demo IIRC. Do a search!!!!

The contracts are as yet unsigned but it seems I will be working the weekend of the 27th. Haven't heard anything about the weekend after so I might be able to go then. Orange county is acceptable for me. Somewhere nearby to crash out after the festivities would be nice though. Can anyone in the area host a 'LAN sleepover drinkathon'??? -
Ack, my old site hasn't been updated for quite a while now. Have to apologize for the mess it is
-
Argh, sounds like you all had fun. Wish I could have gone... So I have good news and bad news. Good news is that I hooked up with a girl I let slip away last year, bad news is there is work available to me the weekend of the 27th up near her locale and if I can land it... I'm there I didn't bring a camera with me this time but she's the same girl I fell forhere

I just got a confirmation from another lurker "Cover", looks like there will be a bunch of us there
-
Kewl, I know exactly where that is. See you's there

wow I just had a flash from the old bigtimesoftware. com board where the topic of 'having units on map edge face incoming direct fire from offmap unseen positions' was discussed and shot down. (trip out man) Although I do believe this could be a neat feature, it seems to be more a scenario design issue than something to spend coding time on. As stated above hugging the map runs the risk off being routed offboard. A fair trade off in my opinion. (I once had an mg turret on a reverse slope maul several advancing platoons, routing half offmap who were trying to edgewalk through a smokescreen) No complaints with it here.
