Bloody hell. Ah well, the US version is so good that I won't mind using it for all nationalities.

How do I make the mod work with the batch file system? Since there's no batch file for British Airborne.

Send it my way. user853818@aol.com

Do I have the right to bitch?
Bog replied to Captain Wacky's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Yes, as long as you have it wormed and spayed first. -
How much are YOU upgrading for CM:BB?
Bog replied to Captain Wacky's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I just upgraded my 600mhz Celeron to 320MB of RAM, and a 32MB TNT2 card. I think I'm prepared for CMBB. -
Testing.

Which German Armored Car MOD are you using?
Bog replied to Herr Kruger's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
I use Fernando's Mono Colored. -
"Puffing" the "Magic Dragon"? Think about US servicemen in Vietnam. Think real hard.
-
1. That would be a nice touch. 2. I don't that's possible. Assault gunboats require crew to move them, so a standalone boat would require an engine rewrite.

Ok, the French infantry mod doesn't include a chest/back part, that bmp shows up as white in the game. Anyone else have this problem?

I may have just found something to replace my ancient KwazyDog JagdPanther. It does look a little bare though, LCM has the right idea. Some markings or just a cross would be nice.

It's a Halloween surprise. I know it.

What Sherman MODs are you....
Bog replied to Herr Kruger's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Bergmann's, although they do slow down my frame rate significantly when a lot of Shermans are on screen. -
Dogface, we'll most likely see M3 Grants (coffin for 7 brothers), Valentines, Matildas, M4A1s, and some others.

I had one occasion, playing the Small Gain scenario, where my Greyhound fired his 37mm, knocking out a German HT, then firing his .50 cal a second later, killing a second HT! I was impressed

CM2: The Third Fatherland War

Tiger also made a hi-res KT mod, but I personally like Kitty's King Tiger. Tiger's mod is available at Combat Missions-UK.

Ok, in Bfamily's weapon sets he has two types of Sten, one with wooden furniture and a foregrip and wooden stock, and an all-metal one with frame stock. Which was more common in the British Army in 1944-45? In the airborne?

the hummel and the 150mm Inf Gun
Bog replied to Chad Harrison's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Hehe, I remember when I played a QB with computer picked forces at night, and I got a Hummel with the force selection. Once our infantry found each other, I was doing pretty well, using the Hummel to totally destroy entire squads. Until one squad ran right up to the Hummel, like 9 meters away. The Hummel depressed it's gun fully and fired. KA-BOOM! Result: Allied squad dead, and the Hummel explodes in a nasty fireball! -
Hauptman Wacky, for one, keep us updated on how the guy does. Fortunes of war may just be the answer, or perhaps something else.... Yeah, post every game he plays, and the outcome! I want to see if it's really true!

Wow, I've been trying not to read any of this. David, you mind sending a copy my way at user853818@aol.com Thanks. -
An MG study: Is there a problem here?
Bog replied to The_Capt's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Probably one of the main underlying problems is that the MGs in CM fire as if they're on a firing range. They fire about a 4 second burst, then WAIT for about 8 seconds, then fire again. In real life, the MGs would be firing at much faster intervals. And, of course, MGs cannot target more than one squad at a time, meaning that they concentrate on that one squad even after it's already broken and running. -
Ok, I have looked, and the only winter Jpz IV I've found was on CMHQ, and it's low-res. Is there a hi-res version to be found anywhere?
