Sometimes, when I'm checking LOS for an infantry squad, I hit the Split Squad button by mistake. It's not that big a deal, but it would be good if after you hit Split Squad you get a confirmation window that makes you confirm your choice. It's mainly an issue because split squads have lower morale tolerances, so having your line squads split can affect them in combat. Plus, it's harder to put them back together once they're split.

I guess the Wehrmacht converted all those extra America Online CDs they got in the mail into AT weapons.

If I'm not mistaken, that's an Iron Cross on the side, not a swastika. But then again, there might be one on the back or the top that I can't see.

SPOILER------------------------------------SPOILER Is "A Deadly Affair" that partisan scenario? If so, that has to rank as THE most fun I've had with a computer game in years, bar none. Got to play it at a preview. Very exciting and gripping. Pulled off a major victory by "running the gauntlet" with my trucks and getting most of them off the map. It was very hair raising all the way.

A question. I ordered CMBB via check, which means I mailed the check on Saturday. Will I still recieve the game on the 21st, or a few days after?

As far as i know, i didn't select a bailed crew, and the program just quit to the desktop, it didn't freeze.

I try to play the turn 25 movie, but it always ends up crashing at some time during the movie. Anyone else have this happen to them?

It was back in the Alpha stages of CMBO. Fionn and Moon played a battle which was updated regularly. The AAR should be still available in the Archives section of CMHQ. I think the scenario is downloadable. Search for it on the Scenario Archive.

I think this would be the ultimate bone. Imagine how many people eagerly watched the CMBO Alpha Battle. This will be even more closely watched, because of more people in the CM group. Now, if the playtesters are too busy as it is, I can understand, but it would be nice to have something like an Alpha Battle for CMBB.

Mausers take either hand-fed ammo or chargers, as far as I know. I don't think they eject the expended charger, though.

How common was it to have camo versus feldgrau? I'm talking about DD's Heer Infantry mod (and, I suppose, Andrew Fox's Heer Infantry). I dig the camo smock, but was wondering about it's historicality. I am a historical freak.

That looks like DD's terrain mods, except for the road, guess that's from the Normandy mod. Don't know what building mod it is. It looks exactly like my CM mod hookup, except I don't have that road and I don't use the all-black smoke. This is a good idea. I think more people should post sets of screenshots like this.

Crap...I am torn between Capt. Wacky's MG42 sound and Scipio's MG42 sound. Scipio's sounds more like ripping canvas, but Wacky's sounds good also. Anyone who has heard both, please give me your opinion. Which is more historical, etc. Also, since the rifle fire mods are universal, won't the Lee Enfield and Mausers also have pinging clips? Side note: Wavs 402 and 403 both sound strange. 402 sounds almost like MG fire followed by a clip ping, and 403 sounds like someone beating a rug with a large stick, followed by a ping. No other issues, though.
