Dammit Mace don't you have a backyard to clean up or some chores down there today!?

Ich bien ein Cats supporter. Sad isn't it. Always the brides maid, never the bride. Oh well, I know we say this all the time but there's always this season. Mace
 2. And where are the sheep? Mace PS Hi mum! (notice the correct antipodean spelling of mom)
 3.
quote:
Originally posted by Seanachai: I'd just have to stand there shuffling and embarassed.

Heaven's sake no! We cant having you feel embarassed. Not when we always feel embarassed for you (or is that because of you). Mace PS something pleasurable about getting the last word in before a threads shut down.
 4.
quote:
Originally posted by Goanna: With that in mind, I'd just like to say to a hearty Sucked In! to all those Philadelphia Buzzard fans who stuck in their all year only to be shafted in the end.

Bit like the Geelong Cats really! Mace
 5.
quote:
Originally posted by Bullethead: Malaxa Carrier - Schrullenhaft (1/35 Mirage - known as Renault UE) - dependent on availability

Woot! I have a Renault UE already completed and in the collection - you can tick that off Mace
 6.
quote:
Originally posted by Panzer Leader: ANyone else want to share? Put your name and model down so we can keep this list updated and whittle it down. IT'S FOR THE CAUSE!

Put me down for the H35 and R35. Mace
 7.
quote:
Originally posted by Panzer Leader: I just bought the DML grille, which I think is the same as the Kirin kit, but this Alan kit does look good...

Kirin is a subsidiary of Dragon, and the Dragon and Kirin Grille are the same kit (although the Dragon kit gives you some crew as well) Mace
 8. You may like to read here for the latest official answer. Mace
 9.
quote:
Originally posted by Måkjager: Panzer Leader.... i have the Kirin SdKfz 138/1 Grille made painted and being photographed what we need Re: Grille is the SdKfz 138/M which was the final version of the vehicle ...very simiilar to the Marder III SdKfz 138/M.

I sent my Grille in, but the more the merrier I say. Btw I think Alan (the polish or Russkie model company) has just released or is just about to a SdKfz 138 Ausf M Grille. So keep an eye out for that. Mace PS I wonder if we can convince Kwazydog to post shots of all the models he's received so far?
 10.
quote:
Originally posted by The Commissar: Unless they plan to add more members to their team as they go along, CM will always be a tad behind graphically but light years away gameplay-wise.

That's a conscentious design decision. Most military sims are designed to run on high end machines and are thus incapable of running well on all PCs. CM however is designed down slightly so that is runs well on most PCs. Mace
 11.
quote:
Originally posted by Panzer Leader: BTW, what is the Aufklarer?

Think Sdkfz 222 turret on the 38(t) chassis. Used mainly for recon. Mace
 12.
quote:
Originally posted by Goanna: Diggers: Happy Australia Day!!!

This one's for Seanachai: Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi! Oi! Oi!!! Mace [ 01-26-2002: Message edited by: Mace ]

 13.
quote:
Originally posted by rune: Becasue the numbers were very small. I researched this and contacted several authors, and numbers never exceeded 30. Very small number.... Rune

I can also confirm with Rune that the numbers of KV1s captured and used by the Germans was insignificant. The most interesting of those that were however was a KV1 that had the turret replaced with one from what appeared to be a PzKpfw IV Ausf H. Mace

 15.
quote:
Originally posted by SpazManOught: Do these hackers realy exist? Has any home user been hacked?

Just read about some research recently done on hacking. One researcher set up a network of PCs. Two were connected without firewalls to the internet, with a version of Windows as OS on one, and Linux on the other. (The other PCs were used to monitor any access to these 2). Within 24 hours the PC running windows was hacked, and the other withing 72 hours. Just goes to show how important a firewall is. Mace
 16.
quote:
Originally posted by mrcitizenkane about Rune: While I think being called a troll is quite humorous I cant help thinking it shows your intelligence and matured level. For your sake I hope you are a 13 year boy! Thanks for the quote from a book by the way, it show us you can copy.

Actually Rune was one of the key-beta testers for CMBO and CMBB, a scenario developer of some standing, a fine member of the CM community, and would be a really nice bloke if he wasn't so Evil! Oh, and like me, he is in the 40-45 age bracket! So by rights you should be on your knees subserviant yelling "I am not worthy" before you insult him. Mace [ 01-24-2002: Message edited by: Mace ]

 17.
quote:
Originally posted by Marlow: you want Kitty to beat you with a good stick and throttle you

*puts hand up Me!! Me!!!! Me!!!!! I've been bad and need a good flogging! MeeEEEEEEeeeee! Mace PS Have you ever seen such sycophant behaviour?
 18.
quote:
Originally posted by Berlichtingen: I can think of few things as vile tasting as sheep.

You have to skin then cook them first! btw Seanachai. Lamb stew huh? I'll forgive you as long as you reveal the ingredients. Mace
 19. Hey, Kwazydog, in your email you mentioned getting some 80 entries so far. What serious gaps are you missing to date? Mace
 20.
quote:
Originally posted by Michael Dorosh: Willi Brandt or Willi Heinrich?

Whoops, me bad! Of course it was Monday when I posted the message, and my brain wasn't running up to full speed. Come to think about it, my brain never runs up to full speed! Mace
 21. An artist should never be rushed, but has anyone considered taking hostages? Mace
 22.
quote:
Originally posted by Michael Dorosh: I just found an article on the internet about the unit the book The Cross of Iron (and later the movie) was based on.

Something that may be unknown is that the book by Willi Brandt was originally published in English as "The Willing Flesh". It has been republished as "Cross of Iron" as a result of the movie with the same name. Mace
 23. I think the Rarity option is a very good idea. Especially when both players agree to a QB with a historic unit mix - the rarity option, by restricting purchases, reduces the need to have a pre-game discussion deciding what vehicles are in and out. Mace
 24.
quote:
Originally posted by Persephone: (about Berli) .... it's more of a Gopher peeking out of his hole in the ground and dancing to the music of Kenny Loggins.

Kenny Loggins? I always knew Berli was evil. *shudders* Mace
