  1. OUTSTANDING! Good things come to those who wait. Muchas gracias Rune, sir! Just one thing....what is the difference between the Sd.Kfz. 251/1 and the Sd.Kfz. 251/1?
  2. Are we there yet? no Are we there yet? no Are we there yet? NO. Are we there yet? no Are we there yet? no Are we there yet? NO.
  3. This is true. However the average person does not realize that the German Army was apolotical despite the ultimate leadership.
  4. Bart Simpson: Are we there yet? Homer Simpson: no Bart: Are we there yet? Homer: no Are we there yet? no Are we there yet? no Are we there yet? NO. ARE WE THERE YET. NO! ARE WE THERE YET! NO! AREWETHEREYET. NO! AREWETHEREYET. NO!...........
  5. That is a loooong memoriam. Nice collection of color pictures though. How far have we come that we can honor the WW2 German Wermacht?
  6. Ok...I'll bite. What is a "toothpick kill"? Is that anything like a "dicfur"?
  7. If the AI is as good as they say it is, it shouldn't be a clickfest...more of a "click and coast". Maybe that is too simplistic. But it sure sounds good, eh?
  8. WOW! So that's a Russian federal highway. Not to brag but, its hard to imagine for someone like me, in the US, where even some of the most rural back roads are paved with asphalt, if not, then with gravel.
  9. That was great! Although without some context for some of the jokes, I doubt some would get all of them. They are a bit dated. Although I did learn something. Vitamin B1 is apparently better than Viagra.
  10. Do they have a complete unit gallery? Will there be smoke and in-map mortars? Will infantry be able to enter buildings?
  11. Thats funny to see from a Russian company. I would not have thought "Ivan" went back so far.
  12. Sooo, there are going to be on-map mortars in game? Me thinks that is a typo from typing too fast. Shouldnt that be 7.92mm StG44?
  13. Nope, not mistaken. Do a search. Please. The models WERE made and the animations WERE done for on-map mortars but then they needed to be redone for some reason or other.
  14. That's an in-game screen shot. Look at the bottom left corner. That was the old title for the game before they renamed it to "Theatre of War".
  15. *WANTED* Anyone who can do an FAQ sticky. Apply within. Not enough time, know how or want to.
  16. Huh? Look around. Battlefront.com has games of its own and a distribution system of its own. That includes the capabily for buyers to download games just bought. And there is no need to be on steam to play the games either. Alot more freedom that way. What you have here is quality over quantity. Valve...not so much. At least as far as wargames go. No arcade games here.
  17. Well, if thats the case I may have a chance then.
  18. Well, this just sucks. I have everything but the 2.6 Ghz power necessary. I have 2.5 and that is overclocked. How's that for a kick in the teeth?
  19. Thats fine, as long as I get to play it next. Glad to have you back!
  20. Yea, all WW2 pics are dated by default. There is not much you can do about that. Thanks for the pics though. I dont speak French. I guess these pics are named by the city or town they were taken near? I recognized alot of the names. Very comprehensive. I will have to bookmark that.
  21. Ahem *COUGH*COUGH*HACK*searchbutton*COUGH*HACK*COUGH* *Clears throat* 'scuse me.
  22. There are alot of things left out. You would think if they modeled each variant of the Sherman, from the caste hull to the welded hull, that there would be other common units that were modeled as well. I still think this is just a temporary thing. But what is REALLY important is the demo. How the AI handles the situation it is presented with, uses the terrain etc etc. The eye candy is there. That is obvious.
