  1. Finally had a chance to look at it. There are many things missing. Each category is missing several. But something is better than nothing. Besides, they can always update. Although they should say there are some items missing.
  2. Since so many are sticklers for accuracy I thought it my duty to point out that it is actually "I tawt I taw a putty tat". Get it right man.
  3. Oh, and iplaygames2, have you been to the blog?
  4. Well...Sept 18 is a Monday, just not Labor Day.
  5. Its gone past SNAFU straight to FUBAR. All kidding aside, I have learned alot about WW2 history from playing realistic WW2 games. That is not limited to weapons but includes locations, geography, geopolitics and cultures. That and I have learned alot from these forums as well. They have provoked me to pick up a book or three or an article relating to these areas. Helps to give you a glimpse into the possible future as far as foreign affairs and human nature goes. Granted this has been happening over MANY years. It has all been very interesting. [ September 12, 2006, 07:48 PM: Message edited by: gunnersman ]
  6. From in game screenshots you will see PUHlenty of persistent hulks. There was discussion on infantry cover. But whether or not hulks block LOS was never answered. However I suspect this will be the case. Discussion here.
  7. There are no dug in guns but there are sandbag emplacements for ATGs and IGs. Yet dug in guns would be nice too.
  8. You wouldnt necessarily need an animation of the soldier(s) trying to unjam their weapon. It would be good enough if there was some symbol or other representation for a jammed weapon.
  9. What? There are more of you? You guys are coming out of the wood works....your not a clone are you?
  10. I second that! Something for the future, maybe?
  11. Well, since ToW uses a modified version of the IL2 fighter sim engine, and is suppose to have excellent AI, and many of the necessary models are already there, it wouldnt take too much would it? Of course you would need interior modeling, sights, new sounds (for instance sounds of shell loading into the breach and being ejected after the gun fires) and other various sundry touches, I am sure. There has not been a decent tank sim since "Panzer Elite". (Seed planted  ) [ September 10, 2006, 05:11 PM: Message edited by: gunnersman ]
  12. Tarquelne, What are you saying? I have never heard of "imbaness" and it is not in the dictionary. Is that a "l337" term? If so please stop using it or I will have to come give you a noogie.
  13. Yes, I should have clarified. You can change units but not create your own maps and such...yet.
  14. I will give this a shot...NOT that I am a good replacement for Megakill or David1C. Anywho... There has been discussion of this, at least too the point of not haveing so many tank heavy battles. But rest assured there will be plenty. And the reason being (according to the developers) because there were so many battles that involved tanks...and they just plain love tanks (and who doesnt)! But there will be effort to put battles that are not so tank heavy. I would personally love to see all infantry battles with HMGs and ATGs or IGs (what other abbreviations can I come up with? ) The first release will not have a software development kit or any kind of editing tools for the map. BUT, there is talk of some form of editing tools for a follow up patch.
  15. M Hofbauer, I dont think your reply was long enough...could you give it another try.
  16. Please dont give anyone here any ideas.
  17. SlapHappy, I always felt like that to. Its suppose to be better if you join a clan or team where the level of team work goes way up.
