  1. Yes the LAV is amphibious. You can note the props on the models. Unfortunately there is not water currently to use them in. The AAV is also. http://www.flickr.com/photos/huntarr/sets/72157604625677436/
  2. Buddy Aid was made more "aggressive" since they now aquire ammo from fallen comrades.
  3. Thanks LLF for the literature suggestion, :cool:I'll grab a copy. Sounds like a good read. It's hard to really give Darkmage, Marine Corps doctrine since it has to be "tweaked" to fit CMSF:Marines. The material that we could throw at him (referring to Darkmage like he's not in the room, sorry about that) would might make his head spin. My intent was more to keep it in game and simple. Since you'll notice a difference in RPG accuarcy and quickly learn that getting 25 Digital Devildogs smoked in a tuna can will quickly make you start hunting for that "last save".
  4. This was spotted but it was yet to be addressed. Either that or delay again. It didn't adversely affect the performance of either units. So 1.11 here we come.
  5. Unless you expect some serious ATGM's, 500m is pretty good rule of thumb to dismount your Digital Devildogs. M16A4 Long Rifle allows you reach out and touch someone a little better than the M4.
  6. Go Advanced or key them manualy :*cool::cool: (remove the asterisk) Holy Hannah Moon your fast!
  7. Updated Shoot-N-Scoot tutorial with SMAW / Javelin Rocket conservation
  8. _______________________________________________________ #5 Select the last waypoint(white circle) in the string and give the team a FACE or TARGET ARC in any future direction you wish Note: this will break the earlier TARGET command thus saving you from expending excess rounds Congratulations you have just completed a course in Ammo conservation. ooOOHHRAH! If you have an questions please feel free to ask.
  9. Updated Shoot-N-Scoot for the CMSF: MARINES Limited ammo a problem? Don’t want to fire all your SWAW / Javelins Rockets all in one WEGO turn? Here is a brief tutorial on conserving ammo with your Digital Devildogs by using a “tried and true” tactic. #1 Select SWAW Team. Place TARGET at building located at Objective 1. #2 Give the SMAW Team a 15sec PAUSE Javelin note: give the unit a 30 sec PAUSE due to the need for the CLU to lock on. ___________________________________________ #3 Give the team a QUICK waypoint on the same building they are located in Note: if the team in not in a building you can place the waypoint on the teams same position or to a safer fall back position #4 If you selected a multi-story building as the waypoint you will be prompted to select a level Note: changing elevation may allow you to get a better LOS on other Opfor targets.

  16. Well the thread did make me think of this...... Don't get me wrong I enjoy the building anticipation.
  17. Well, well, well whadda we have here? A Finnish IED (snowball), huh? I know just where I’ll take this sucker…… I think somebody thought they could catch this ole Leatherneck off guard. Hotti, you forget My Beloved Corps has the fore thought to train it’s Hardchargin Devildogs in all types of terrain & climates, heck son we even do it on vacation……were you that little blonde kid? Since we are on the subject of “cold”……… Semper Fi Thanks Hotti for being a Muse for this post
  18. Correct cool breeze. Charles has already stated that if an enemy can hit you then you can hit them. There is some miscommunication about how the Targeting Line works. If it can see the action spot it can target the Action Spot. It "Snaps To" the center of an Action Spot which may look like you can't hit the area. I have found that if you, like cool breeze was referring, move the Target Line over a building front you can find the "sweet spot" that will "snap" into place. c3k, I didn't consider your response condescending in any way. We're all here to help each other. The a$$hats for the most part have left the building.
  19. ...and one of the only Forums that the Devs talk to and listen to it's members. You gotta love'em.
  20. As you can see they spring the ambush even just outside the ARC which is actually to my favor (smarter TacAI) Grenades are going into the air even before rounds are. There was discussion in Skunkworks about how to micromanage the interior disposition of your infantry, but you have to remember the interior is not an empty room. It's abstracted walls and cooridors. I don't think BFC is trying to simulate CQB. Hope that helps Devilpup Maybe this should be moved over to Tac & Strat?
