  1. It will breech walls, your better off using the breeching charge it's more efficient than the 2-4 SMAW rnds needed to breech. That does remind me we might need a slight "bump" in the breeching rounds, Making the suggestion in Skunkworks. After some more tests
  2. Yes you can check the LOS at the waypoint using TARGET/TARGET LIGHT to see if you will have LOS from that waypoint location. Read the tutorial Pop-n-Drop the link is at the bottom of my sig line Along with several others. Shoot-n-Scoot has been updated to include SMAW/Javelin ammo conservation
  3. I don't disagree that it would be nice to have a smaller increment in PAUSE as well as for fire missions, (2 mins might be useful not 20 mins) I've requested them in Skunkworks. We're talking about working with what we can do now with the system until BFC does/doesn't add into the UI. Your OP was about Javelins, they have an aquisition time of 30secs(+/-). So having a smaller increment would not help you at all. The tutorial posted states you should give your JAV time 30 sec PAUSE and your SMAW teams 15sec PAUSE.
  4. You can also SHIFT+Lclick "lasso" the units to select them
  5. Meade95, I'd love to do more AARs but unfortuantly I don't do RT (hate it can't stand it). WEGO has too many challenges and perks for me not to play it. Like others have said, you have to think more in advance in WEGO due to the 1min turn constraints. And the Replay benefit goes without saying. There is also a very good tutorial on MOUT here. Assaulting a building fierce and agille LINK Chainsaw thanks for the endorsement, Devilpup. Oh, Meade95 & Sabrefly that's an hour in "The Pit" for misspelling the name. NOW MOVE IT!
  6. Thanks Chainsaw, I'm still amazed that folks haven't seen that tutorial. You'd think it'd be required training by now.

  8. The MGS is a rapid response infantry support platform. You are correct it is not a Main Battle Tank nor is it a Tank Destroyer. Use it to support infantry. Remember it carries the Ma Duece and 3,000 rounds in it's coax. That's where your money maker is. Take a look at Shoot-N-Scoot in my sig line. I wrote those last year, they'll help you control your Wego ammo usage. "The sole purpose of the cannon on the tank is to let the tank get into where it can use it's machine gun to kill the enemy."
  9. Read a couple of my Tactical tutorials, located in my sig line, they will show you how to control your firing during WEGO. Shoot-N-Scoot link
  10. Posted this in the ambush thread awhile back.
  11. Trust me, we bitch'd and moaned about animation on various platforms. Hi-Rez LAV link
  12. Kettler, Outstanding observation Devilpup, I was hoping one of you excuses for pond scum would spot that obvious plant, meant to keep you on your toes. The scribe was using his civy spell checker and not the standard issue DOD Dictionary of Military and Associated Terms. He’ll do “The Pit” for that. Ali-Baba, there is also the “break squelch” when reinforcements arrive.
  13. Radio Chatter Glossary link Everything is answered with this glossary.
  14. Jammers are taken care of by the TacAI. You job is to not get it knocked out by enemy fire.
  15. A couple of ya'll Devilpups was askin for some trainin on the new Radio Chatter protocols. Hope this'll get ya'll grab-tastic slackers squared away and ed-jama-cated. 16. The concept of Syria being given better equipment with Thermal Imaging makes the IR smoke useful. We could remove the T-90s and other gear from the game that was making Syria more of a threat.
  17. Where's the love for the new & improved "Cone of Death"?! Heck, I outta tell them BFC boys ya'll are a bunch of spoiled grab-tastic slackers! Give our Art(y) boys a big oOOHHRAH!
  18. You gents are missing the most important difference between WEGO & RT. Is the frickin sweet ability in WEGO to replay the actions over and over again! Being mesmerized by the action unfolding from every angle!
  19. SPOILER ALERT! About the Campaign. If you successfully complete the 1st mission "Beach Recon" with your Scout/Sniper teams. You have gathered intel on the Landing that will provide you with <?> rough locations on enemy dispostion. There are variable ways into "Amphibious Assault into Hamidiyah" with the recon intel & without. The sceanrio designer can adjust how much pre battle intel goes into each scenario. It is not a bug
  20. You better not forget the ole Gunny since your handing out poogie bait. Shoot me a copy will ya?
  21. Goes back quite a ways. No problem. click here for orginal Might I suggest you browse this quick visual tutorial Click here for Pop-N-Drop it might give you some ideas on what you can actually do at each waypoint. Semper Fi Carry on Devilpup
