I was checking to see weither this map modeled The Netherlands as it was now or as it was then (big differences) but what I saw wasn't that common mistake but the complete blobbification and distortion of it. I realize it's a small and odd/fiddly shaped country but they made it completely unreckognizeable.

Kingfish, did you get my mail about BigDuke and Other Means? Both tried to get in but hasn't heard back and got their email bounced respectively. If you can still find a spot for them that would be awesome.

Nah, if we must suffer ( ) a game about Americans please let it be the American War of Independence. A conflict that hasn't been given as much attention as the others. I'd be keen to learn more about it through playing, like CMBB did for me.

Since when have the US been using cool operation names? Except for Anaconda they are awful. Operation Iraqi Freedom? It's a code name. CODENAME! Not a explanatory pamflet.

Uhm, does it mean anything that all trademarks on it are "dead"? Given the date they might just've been preemptively hogging the sweet names for GW2 sims. I'll see if I can persuade myself to make one just for ****s and giggles. Now that I've seen that I'm a reasonably competitive player (yeah I know, surprised the heck out of me) I'm starting to feel that an AAR of mine might actually not be that bad either. Before I was always too embarrased to do one proper. But it may take me a while, still not in the cheeriest of moods, even after a week.

Nooooooo!!!! I initially thought they were due on with the results aswell. But with my cat being seriously ill and then dying I never got round to finishing them all. Hearing this morning they were due yesterday I finally deleted them. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Ohwell, I was never finals material anyway and I have already seen waaay better AARs so it doesn't matter too much. I already gave mini-AARs with the results which Kingfish kindly sent on to the designers when relevant. I'm afraid that'll have to do.

The Panthers are fine. The ones that Lucky Strike did (and someone else converted to CMAK, sorry whoever you are) are more then pleasing and I hate to have to chose between them and anything MikeyD comes up with. The Sherman mods are the ones I like to see most. While the HTs are pretty bland too, both the UK & US Shermans see more action and the Sherms, with a few exceptions, are dissapointing.
