Reinstalling CMSF with mixed results.
Sandokan replied to Sandokan's topic in CM2 General Tech Support
Hi there Vacillator! Glad to hear you. Uhm, If I remember correctly all CMSF2 should be activated at the same time. Anyway, I'm gonna check. Cheers. -
Hello. I recently reinstalled CMSF with this results. See pic 1. Everything seems fine but, when I open the game some modules are grayed out. Pic 2. Ideas?

On a lighter tone. This one about the tractor brigade is fun.

Greetings. I'm trying to install CMBS on my new PC but everytime appears the message: can't find C:\Users\Roberto\Appdara\local\temp\7z087....\*.brz and i have to abort. Any suggestion?

Thanks for your advices guys. I checked the PC and the processor is a Intel Core I5 with a Iris Plus graphics 655. So I presume @Bufo is right. Anyway, as it has been said it is a bit irritating but not major problem.

Hi there! I recently bought a new PC. It works fine with CMSF2 apart a little thing. Some written stuff looks kind of smudged. Attached files with a pair of examples. Any idea? Thanks in advance.

Just to know, is there anybody out there that has managed to score a total victory in this scenario? Even if it wasn't the first go. Personally, I think I've never got anything better than draw. How sad.

USMC campaign. Surprising performance of 60 mm mortars.
Sandokan replied to Sandokan's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 2
Uhm, have I to presume I was the only one unaware of this? -
Until recently I didn't think much of the 60mm light mortars. Good for harassing infantry and nothing much more. But playing "The flank guard" scenario I had to change my mind. In a little less than ten minuts, using armour rounds, a section managed to kill two BTR 60. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised.

Hear, hear!

Or maybe the 32nd. BF likes this kind of jokes.

Will Shock Force 2 Receive new modules?
Sandokan replied to Anonymous_Jonze's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 2
For what I know there shouldn't be any. I was pretty surprised when CMSF 2 appeared at all. -
Happy New Year to BFC and everybody! Engine 5. Great! But, what really appeal me is ... Volkssturm!

Yes, in the final scene Hitler in his speech says that and a few other things. The ghost tank is the embodiment on the battlefield of those ideas, I'd say.
-
@mjkerner Ok, i'm sold. On my to watch list. Changing slightly subject, I've recently watched on youtube "The white Tiger". A uncommon mix of war and supernatural events on the russian front. Personnally I've found it pretty interesting.

Urgh! Did I write CMBS2? Probably I was still half asleep. Thanks for the heads up Erwin. Luckily the link was correct. Vacilllator. Did you visit Pordenone? It's a small world. The place hasn't changed a bit. Backwater as ever.
