Götz von Berlichingen
Was that yet another Hugo Boss design originally? Regards KR Yeah, it came about after Hugo wore one of his suits whilst doing one of his favourite recreational activities - PAINTBALL...
panzermartin
How on earth can you lose a war with such cool uniforms?
Michael Emrys
How on earth can you lose a war with such cool uniforms? Same thing happened to Napoleon's army. They were beautifully dressed. They lost anyway. Maybe it represents a fixation on the wrong thing. Michael
flamingknives
One of the unofficial rules of war, isn't it? The side with the simplest uniforms wins.
Cuirassier
I don't know. Wellington's red coats dressed quite nicely. Then again, siding with the ugly uniformed Austrians and Russians probably carried the day.

panzermartin
Is this "I'm more sensitive than you" type of posting? Or just tasteless trolling? In any case, you are in the wrong thread dude.
Elmar Bijlsma
A) BFC aren't big fans of photographs of dead bodies. Camouflage uniforms wouldn't have been the typical garment of camp guards. SS=/= Holocaust C) Why single out the SS as evil when the Wehrmacht hardly got out of the war smelling like roses. Look, I find the fascination people have with the SS a bit... iffy. But let's not get hysterical, shall we?

Other Means
I thought it was the side with the worst tanks won? Or is that just a corollary?

But the uniform portrayed here can't be directly linked to the Holocaust. You wouldn't react like you did to a Luftwaffe uniform, would you?
flamingknives
I thought it was the side with the worst tanks won? Or is that just a corollary? Oh, there are lots of rules. I don't know what would happen if one side has simple uniforms but good tanks though.

Sgt Joch
yes, IDF paratroopers in jerusalem in 67, although the guy on the right would not look out of place in the CMSF syrian army.
flamingknives
'67 - Simple uniforms, plus what can only be described as a mixed bag of armour against T54s and JSIIIs. The odds are in their favour...
Cuirassier
"I don't know what would happen if one side has simple uniforms but good tanks though." You lose catastrophically. Eg Soviets 1941.
Michael Emrys
Oh, there are lots of rules. My personal favorite is "Incoming fire has the right of way."
