zmoney
Does anyone know how to add balconies to the bottom floors of buildings? I read the manual and the key combo they have in there doesn’t seem to work. Every time I do the crtl-shift left click I only get upper level balconies. So is there some rule I’m missing?
Combatintman
I guess the question you have to ask yourself is how many ground floor balconies do you see in real life? I certainly haven't seen any - to that end I surmise the reason you can't create ground floor balconies is because they don't exist.
Pvt. Ryan
I had a ground floor balcony in one apartment I lived in.

bodkin
Balconies are death traps in CMSF, I hate putting my troops on the second floor of a building because I know they'll want to go outside and enjoy the sunshine where they are much more vulnerable to enemy fire. I wish there was an option to make them stay inside. Yes I've seen ground floor balconies in reality.
Smaragdadler
As every balconie grog knows, they exist in many forms. large pic -> http://www.haus-freisl.de/Grafiken/Wohnung%201/Balkon%20W%201.jpg
bodkin
As every balconie grog knows, they exist in many forms. I see from those pics you've got the September 07 issue of 'Balcony Enthusiast' as well. Although I cancelled my subscription as it started to get too mainstream, starting to include articles on porches was the final straw.
Smaragdadler
Yeah it's a real shame that it has become so banal in the latest issues. But I had got it in a bundle subscription with the deluxe version of The Bell Push Fetishist, so to cancel is not an option...

Loved that article on the Faux-Crystal European range, just so choice.
Smaragdadler
They had an interesting special feature in the last issue about this absorbing veiled oriental versions. But all in all it seems I'm just a bloody conservative bastard. Nothing beats the classic naked version for me....
bodkin
Phhtttt, for me 'The Bell Push Fetishist' lost all credibility when it got a new editor who completely ignored the old school and tarted up the mag with lots articles on the soulless 'slimline' designs.
Smaragdadler
Soon 'they' will begin to flood public TV with this stuff. Then my mags will become a good long time capital asset.

zmoney
I’ve played scenarios where the ground floors had small little balconies. The manual says you can do it as well its just I can’t figure out how to do it. So does anyone know how to place balconies on ground floors?
zmoney
Never mind I just opened up that scenario and it was just a regular wall not a balcony
