Sequoia
Okay, I give up. What's SCW? Something Continuation War? You know that if they'll have Finns eventually Sergei will do a Campaign for them.

Indeed Seq, I have already started cranking out those 2x2 maps for my future Tali-Ihantala campaign (and I swear to all imaginable deities, I will make my second trip to Australia JUST to hunt Hunter down if he doesn't include Finnish troops in a patch!). However, while there were Finnish volunteers in the Spanish (Not So) Civil War on both sides, they have no beer nor vodka, and thus I'm not aroused. junk2drive
I was hoping someone from Punta de Lanza would stop by and say they are already working on it.
Sequoia
Okay, now that I know what SCW is, I'll just comment that it would make a interesting title for the cmx2 engine since you can have just about anybody in it. But I doubt it'll ever happen, unless Fernando convinces the rest of the guys.
MPK
I'd really like to see some SCW, Winter War, Annexation of Bessarabia, etc etc campaigns... Did anyone ever explore Nomonhan as an Op? great chance to use the BT's and Vickers tanks...

junk2drive
There are some excellent scenario designers out there that I hope will put together something for SCW in CMC BB. Maybe CMC AK SCW will become a reality too.
Mazeo
Hi all, Magomar from Punta de Lanza was quite excited about CMC and was planning on working out his Ebro Battle campaing using it. I've got some material on the Guadalajara Battle I may try to come up with something when CMC comes out... Mazeo
junk2drive
That is news I was hoping for. Does Magomar still have his webpages? The links in the CMBB forum threads no longer work.
dedgame
hi as far as i got info on the cmc project it looks like it will not deal with minors and planes for the 1st realease too bad....
Mazeo
Well, from what I understood Magomar was unable to do all the work he was having to do to manage his first Ebro Campaing, so it was dropped. Maybe he dropped the website at the same time ? He was hoping on building himself a campaing tool but CMC has come along... Mazeo
Mazeo
I just dropped him a line on Punta de Lanza, maybe he'll coment on it himself... Mazeo
Ike
I'd like to join in that SCW campaign, but only if I have command of the International Brigades (laugh) ... okay, just the Abraham Lincoln Brigade then.

Mazeo hi mazeo, hi all, Sure, I'm planning to develop a campaign based on the Ebro Battle, and using CMC. I was developing a tool, but now that I CMC is in the way I have abandoned this project, since CMC seems to offer many many features that will allow a single GM getting rid of a relatively complex campaign. My webpages concerning this issue are here: http://academycm.goldeye.info/ but they are all spanish. If there are people here interested in such a campaign I would be pleased to open it to the community, translate documents, etc. [ November 07, 2005, 09:15 AM: Message edited by: magomar ]
