Here's the deal. CMBO: Ultimate War in the West edition This version comes already patched and has an on CD version of the rulebook included those long ago promised armor penetration charts, as well as an mpg trailer for CMBB. CMBO: Gold Edition This version comes already patched and has 40 new top rated, but downloadable scenarios, as well as an mpg trailer for CMBB. CMBO: Elite Edition This version comes already patched and has 40 new top rated, but downloadable scenarios, the online manual and charts, an archived version of the "Best of Peng" Battlefront.com forum, as well as an mpg trailer for CMBB. CMBO: Golden Elite Edition War in the West Edition This version comes already patched and has 40 new top rated, but downloadable scenarios, the online manual and charts, an archived bersion of the "Best of Peng" Battlefront.com forum, an archived version of the "CMBO fans gone wild mod collection including the Hampster War mod," as well as an mpg trailer for CMBB. Each would still cost the 45 + shipping, but the great part about is that right before you've got a new product coming out you can repackage your old one FOUR different ways and give them such limited release nobody will trust you every again! Doesn't that sound great? ======REALITY BREAK======= Seriously. This was probably the pitch given at some point at Talonsoft. Somebody believed it and did it. BTS may after CMBB is released and things settle down and they take a vacation they (BTS) may rebuild the engine that drives CMBO and CMBB to release the 3rd game as CM North Africa/Italy and they then may release a newer CMBO. This is all up to BTS and us (pressure BTS) who buy the games. So unless mods and scenarios can work with the upgraded engine they would have to conceder releasing a CMBO final release with the best mods and scenarios included as suggested.
