A.E.B
Hi all I was fighting Beda Fomm as the allies (92/8 – Matilda’s rock!) and I happened to notice that one of the Australian independent Boys ATR sections was commanded by one Cpl Seanachai. Thanks Rune, but the Australian army has no place for a Minnesotan garden gnome, not even in the dark days of 1941. We have standards you know! Has anyone else spotted a forum member in a CMAK scenario? Merry Christmas A.E.B
Snarker
Rune put him there for your stomping pleasure. Boys AT, if I remember correctly.
...................................
Aha! Now I'm starting to see the research and rationale. OTOH adding a few garden gnomes into that scenario won't lessen the realism any further, so why not [ December 23, 2003, 06:51 PM: Message edited by: Pheasant Plucker ]
Berlichtingen
Other forum members can be found in Another Hill and Hunters in the Groves... Oh, and Seanachai can be found commanding one side in yet another scenario... though its his real name, sort of, this time
Michael Emrys
I am presently play testing a scenario for someone in which I spotted a certain Soddball. Appropriately enough, he was driving one of those rinky-dink Italian ACs. Michael
Pvt. Ryan
I once had a captured Italian armored car crew commanded by a Sergeant Gunny Bunny.
Snarker
Did you summarily execute him?
BulletRat
Well I know its the goal of all forum-goers to get your name put into the game by the makers, but I'm not sure if I want in now - might end up in an italian tankette or something!
Seanachai
I'm sure that Cpl Seanachai will prove most heroic. Also, probably one of the most killed teams in CMAK.
LGMB
Soldiers, Lest we forget, The Hatred. Lord General MB never commanded much of anything larger then one of those toy dumptrucks. Mbjvx, however, has been spoted roaming the vast Canadian country side, shouting for Dorosh's blood.
MarkEzra
After loading CMAK I started a QB...and lo and behold! There I was...as usual a jeep jocky! It is very cool to be in the game!
Meach
I have spotted Unteroffizier Molek in CMBB and am sure that other modders have been included.
Kingfish
Rune's monster scenario 'Totensonntag' features the following rouge's gallery: Maj Theron (Winecape) Sgt Faller (Madmatt) Sgt Sowden (JonS) Lt Tankersley (Leland Tankersley) Sgt Salt (John Salt) Leland's name has been part of the code since the CMBO days, and Matt's name has shown up on a few other CMAK scenarios, so he's in there as well. The others I think were editted in by Rune.
Boo Radley
I killed off Joe Shaw in "Another Hill", But sadly, there's no Radley.
Ubique
Thanks to 'Rune' my father appears as 'Lieut Reed', one of the British Arty spotters, in the 'Brits at Anzio' scenario. He kindly put him in there as I sent him some info for the scenario, and my Dad served with 24th Field Regt RA in this action.
Jack Carr
I was in the game back in CMBO days. The scenario with Wittmann's Tiger tank has a Cromwell tank commander Carr. It's Irish/Scottish.
