I know that captured weapons were used ad-hoc by all armies but were Australians actually issued MG34s? jrcar Posted November 25, 2004 Share Posted November 25, 2004 yep we used lots of captured equipment, on Crete we even got the Germans to do resupply for us (thanks to captured code books). Even today we have more M-16's than we bought... thanks to Vietnam and exercises with US troops who tend to leave them around the place. It was asked to be added from the Australian Defense Department and he decided to leave it in for the commerical version as well. The Mg-34's being left out of those early 1941 German TO&E's is a omission though and if we ever do a 1.04 patch (which is however unlikely), that will be fixed.
