(Finally) I made the mod based on the feedback I got on this forum, and the call was for dark ballast, as opposed to the very lite colored gravel used here in the US, so here it is: These are actually pictures of the Low-res version (256x256), which is also available, for those like me that have problems with large mods. Important - PC users sometimes have trouble opening files zipped by my archiving program If these don't work I'd appreciate a volunteer with a PC to d/l the individual files and zip them for me. Pud, I'd agree with you on the overall darkness of the Mod, but from the previous feedback here and from pictures that seems to be the way of European ballast - dark and reddish. Hmm, perhaps a little darker than I was expecting, even from looking at the real-life photos, but very nice overall. The narrower track gauge look much more to scale too.
