My units showing up as ? marks

While watching the replay of a turn if I select one of my units the others all go to ?

Shouldn't I be able to see what all of my units are doing?

It depends on what level you are playing. For example, on "Iron" if you click on an individual unit you will only have a solid contact icon for the friendly units it can see.

It is something you can experiment with, tanks even if buttoned down will be able to keep sight of units behind for a certain amount of time via the cupola. infantry teams, squads etc will be able to see a certain distance behind them before losing contact.

OK, that may be it. We were playing Warrior. I usually like to watch the turn from level 4 and then zoom in if something is happening. Right now all I have is ? marks for my units and they do not even move.

You're definitely playing on Iron.

It's fun, but it takes a lot more processor power...

I don't know the last time I played in iron mode... or if I ever played in it at all. I think if I accidentally hit Iron then started playing I'd be ALL kinds of confused!

Bit surprised by that, @MikeyD.....Since discovering 'Iron Mode' I've never used anything else (except author test, obviously).

I suppose we all find the setting that we are comfortable with. "Iron" isn't for everyone, but I can't imagine playing the game any other way.
