Killkess
Are there no hit decals on era tiles? Ive seen multiple penetrations where i could see holes in the underlying armor but the era tile was still "intact". Aren´t they supposed to explode/beeing damaged by hit decals or when beeing hit by heat warheads? Ive not seen any missing ones either. Sidenote: What is the visiual difference between T90AM with or without APS? I cant see a difference.
akd
There is an ERA bug which will be fixed in first patch. Most APS versions don't have a visual difference, but unique models may be added later on. Problem is it would require speculative modeling in several cases that might be no better than simply not showing the APS system.
Killkess
Thanks for your quick reply. Dont invest to much APS grafic whise. I "only" thougt its a matter of options i did not know.
Pelican Pal
Does the bug have to do with the ERA not triggering? I've lost a number of ERA equipped armored vehicles and haven't noticed any ERA hits.

dan/california
So the vehicle death rate is somewhat too high currently?
ChrisND
Yes, there's a launch bug with ERA protection. We should be getting v1.01 out early next week, and when that launches ERA-equipped vehicles will see more survivability against appopriate weapon types.
dan/california
This makes the Abrams even more effective doesn't it? MBTs generally even? I assume its still not going to let a Bradley or BMP-3 survive a main gun round.

If it is an APFSDS round, it is still going go though-and-through.
wee
Well if it is a HEAT round, they could have a chance. If it is an APFSDS round, it is still going go though-and-through. Relikt or Kaktus ERA could be interesting on T72/90 and possibly effective counter measure against western sabot rounds, though not saving BMP-3 from them due to thinner armor. Stagler
Yes. Ha you can effing say that again. I lost a T-90AM to a ukrainian BMP-2 launched Konkurs yesterday morning on the first mission of the Russian campaign. Guess im going to have to take that one in my stride.
