zinzan
I expect that German forces anywhere in the FSU might be just a tad "politically sensitive". Michael Quite........
Aragorn2002
I really hope NATO, including my own country, will start arming itself to the teeth again, so we can face whatever is coming at us. Those who want peace, prepare for war.
vincere
That was a cool video. I hope we get to see that equipment in CMBS with a future module. The clip won't give us a decent picture to current doctrine and practices for facing a high anti-armour threat. That said, in parts of it vehicles were scarily clustered and gave the impression of assumed dominance that I could not help thinking recent asymmetric wars may have left ingrained in some way.

I was thinking the same. I know from my own game experience that does not end well....

tdogg
Forget the limeys we need some poles in the east!!!! Dude, you are so right. Poland is enjoying one of the greatest times in their history, nice long span not being dominated by someone else. Just a hint of Putin posturing gets them fired up. I have a sense that the Poles would give a monte casino effort if they felt an iron curtain was upon them. They have tasted freedom and there is no going back for them.

What causes deep discomfort; pain even, is how quickly the British Army forgets lessons that have previously been paid for in blood. I'd anticipate that any medium to high intensity conflict would see early losses through forgotten lessons and a steep learning curve.

vincere
I expect that is a universal problem. Agreed, but gee some of previous doctrine and equipment decisions were so blatantly 'wrong' on fundamental levels.
