c3k
Sigh. Okay, go ahead an post your credit card number, expiration date, SSN, address, phone number, date of birth, bank account number, bank name and address, and we'll see if someone on the internet can get that sorted. NO! Do NOT post anything like that...unless you like paying for other people to have stuff. (And, no, this is not an invitation for a political post.) Sheesh. Ordinarily, credit cards have a 3 digit code on the back. I would think that is what you need to submit. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Card_Security_Code Ken

MikeyD
Every credit card I've owned has had a small printed number on the back next to the signature. Mine is 7517 032 ...okay, that's a lie. That's not my code number. But there should be a number like that next to your scrawled sig on the back.
YankeeDog
Location of what's often referred to as the "CVV" code can vary with card type. Most common seems to be the aforementioned 3-digit code on the back of the card, but with some cards such as American Express it's on the front of the card. AMex also uses a 4-digit code vs. Visa & M/C's 3-digit code. If you have any doubts, call the customer service number for your card.
Holman
I remember a time (not too long ago, really) before the CVV code was printed on credit cards, so it's perfectly possible to be unfamiliar with them. If you seldom order online or by phone, you might never have to use it or even know what it is.

Lt Belenko
It's often printed on the white place where you sign the card.
