  1. What I know I know from somebody else.
  2. You need to post some screenshots. I saw that 2 platoons have a minus (-1) in leadership. Rattled is one step away from panic and shaken. The additional combat stress was the straw which broke the camel's back. Doing your METT-TC one of the Ts stands for troops on hand. Troops with a minus break easily especially when their leader also has a minus. Rattled temporarily go into panic or shaken when they experience combat stress if they don't suffer additional casualties they will recover back to being rattled. Suffering casualties will slowly take away their will to fight, Troops with a plus keep their fighting spirit longer. Out of your three platoons I see you have only one platoon leader with a plus1 in leadership.
  3. They need plenty of room for all the "Under the table deals."
  4. The European infrastructure also plays a role. Example the Sherman and British cruisers in WW2 which could negotiate most bridges in Europe. The German tanks by that time were defending so maneuvering played a lesser role. The Leo1 like the M60 was a tank the designers felt they should have had during WW2. That era came to an end with the ATGM.
  5. Russia under the putin administration is not a regime you can do business with. That is crystal clear.
  6. Going earlier than that is the .50 aiming gun on the Centurion. It was effective up to a mile for first shot hit probability. It outgunned the T55 and was roughly on par with the T62. I would love a game from that period.
  7. The Brits came up with Chobham Armor and I don't think the M60 had laminated armor yet.
  8. At 3:31 to kill a man during his ablutions. Mmmm could be a crime against humanity.
  9. Politicians' university. You can promise your constituents anything because you are not going to honor it anyway.
  10. Except for one just to elect a leader who had no plans to repay it. Yes, he was elected.
  11. Down the track is 2022 now they are asking for higher German defense spending. Your valued WW2 Russian alley is the trouble maker.
  12. I think your mortar possibly doesn't have a LOF. Also, he has only 20 shells you would waste too much ammo. Suggested defilade position. You can hit most of the German positions. With 20 rounds proper indirect fire is not really an option. Watch the ridge if I were the enemy, I would have an observer near the shrub of the tree line.
  13. Possibly the mortar doesn't have a LOF although the spotter (your platoon HQ) has a LOS or the mortar doesn't have C2 communication by radio. TBH the 60 mm mortar when it is on the map is best employed in the direct fire mode from a good defilade position in view of the munitions available thirty shells are not much. The indirect fire mode is very abstract in the game. HQs doesn't need a radio to call indirect fire?? I wonder how that works too. The receiver in your case of the 60 mm mortar needs it. I know US HQs all have radio but there may be some exceptions.
  14. Thanks for your information. Here is the article in wikipedia. In May 2022 the Australian Government announced it was donating 14 M113s to Ukraine as part of Australia's assistance for the country following its invasion by Russia. At this time 40 Bushmasters had also been donated to Ukraine. M113 armoured personnel carriers in Australian service - Wikipedia At least they will be replaced in the next few years. The one with the Saladin Turret is on display at the old artillery barracks near Fremantle.
  15. What about CM players in Russia now? https://twitter.com/pcgamer/status/1539240968100118536?s=20&t=7w8sxXxxK2XBNgfYPQsiLQ
  16. Only if you have a human opponent IMO, I never play QB against the AI. I did it when I first bought the game.
  17. We used to have a friend from Kazakhstan oh the Soviet Union didn't allow him to return home till 1980 to visit his mother. He had the audacity to become a POW without asking for permission. Please stop your apologetics, the problem is their idea of progressiveness stalled in the 19th century. Apartheid used to be a progressive code of conduct with your neighbors of a different culture that had its roots in the 19th century too. That is the problem in this conflict the fact that two countries have a similar culture doesn't mean they are one.
  18. Still Australia still has not replaced the M113 t is heavily modified and equipped with thermals the .50 Browning is replaced too with a 76 mm L5A1 gun. The big thing is it can cross rivers like the Russian IFV. The armour is only proof against light infantry weapons. Australia is in the process to replace the old workhorse. The German Lynx is the likely candidate.
  19. It depends on personal preference. I like Final Blitzkrieg and Red Thunder for the simple reason I can use AFV's as transport. They operate from Game Engine 4 so it doesn't make all that much difference. To enjoy don't shy away from the higher difficulty settings. I don't find playing Iron difficult at all. The choice is yours. Playing the AI is a challenge if you never played before. It is your TacAI versus the AI so don't go too much into macro managing. Do what you do in real life, and you won't go much wrong. In real life you don't use a moving tool such as a LOS or LOF tool.
  20. The set-up zones shouldn't be targeted for the first fifteen minutes. Especially on the smaller maps. The way out could be in the future, that the player decides which available units enter the area of operations.
  21. You can make a screenshot of the elevations and in a photo, editor make a topographic map. TBH I see it as a non-existent solution.
  22. Certainly, a State Funeral with full military honors is a fringe benefit. Very nice uniforms at the airbase coffin nice and shiny and a salute whilst wearing white gloves. They shouldn't complain too much.
