If you analyse the original message - it's all about wanting CM to fare better/more than it already is. However, of course these are decisions best left to the Big Cheese who know a thing or two for the past 10-15 years or so.. i - am not one of them. Just like Doug said, i buy games Steam or no Steam. Irrespective. But Sales/Money/Predicting the future of CM modules and depending on the business plan has a lot to Factor In in this issue. Looking forward to the CMBS and CM"BotB" !!

Hmmmm. In the post-year 2000 wars... i can sense that tablets can 'assist' certain combat mission tactics... How about some love and development of apps that can (not a full game) that can supplement year 2008 and 2017 war games ? Such as, putting up maps on tablet, direct UAV recon on maps. blah blah...

That. OR else., if BFC will pursue the 'Ardennes/BotB' as a separate game - they must really really have lots to pack and add to make it as successful as CMBN, (and to an extent CMFI and CMRT) To be fair, all battles occur in Belgium and Luxembourg. hence.. they are separate/different countries. which might in fact justify why BotB is a separate game and not a module.

Dear Chris Just to be sure I understood correct. Do ALL THE changes you mentioned in your post - apply to the current CMSF ? Or from WW2 onwards only ? Thanks In other words... Will CMSF be @ par to the CMBS (allowing for the 10year gab from 2008 - 2017) in terms of modern equipment & it's functions. Note aside... The U.S./NATO/british in 2008.. Where There drones ? UAVs ?
