  1. I don't want to seem (be!) unhelpful, but turning off CMH would be a pain, to be honest ... I use it to manage all my other games, and it's useful for this one too. I've never tried, but I'm assuming that even if I turn it off to play this battle and manually move these files, when I turn it on again for my other battles it will "catch up" and remove this battles' files too? A better option is to turn off the "tidy dropbox" option, which stops CMH deleting played files from the dropbox. But even this is an issue, as it applies to all games, and so all dropbox folders start accumulating files ... Is it possible for you to shout when you are not around and thus need the files preserving, and I can temporarily turn off "tidy dropbox' for the duration? Or am I missing an easy way to accomplish this, for this battle only?
  2. After my break, I put my next file (008) into the dropbox on Friday afternoon ... been there nearly three days now with no turn back yet from Tiger67? As the pause was my fault, this is not a complaint by any means ... but just a heads up to check that Tiger67 knows it is his turn ...???
  3. Thanks, I have the file and am doing my setup. Sorry to be a pain just as our game starts, but after tomorrow (Monday) morning, I am away for three days ... back playing turns again on Thursday. May get a couple of turns done before I go depending if Tiger67 can also return them, but will I resume ASAP on Thursday ...
  4. Rest assured, there will absolutely NO partying whatsoever here whilst your attention is elsewhere ...
  5. Just be sure I've got this right ... the dropbox now contains the battle file 002. This is (?) the file that TIGER67 is using for his setup, and I am to await file 003 to appear from him to use for my side ... correct?
  6. Yep, ready and waiting ... have accepted drop box share invite for battle T2 hex 3,6 ... Hope this isn't TOO dumb a question, but ... the map doesn't appear to have hex identifiers on it, and I'm not sure which of the 2 battles (ie excluding San Donato) shown - and which stack of our units - is mine??
  7. Have you tried closing CMH, "manually" deleting any and all saved game files within CM itself and (temporarily, if necessary) deleting the associated drop box folders, then re-starting CMH? And perhaps if that doesn't work, downloading and using a "fresh" copy of CMH? (Which would find and continue your existing games, but hopefully not resurrect the one that "isn't there"?)
  8. And this was the only thing you could think of to say? If it's so important to you, why didn't you download and apply the patch and check, rather than just asking ...
  9. You tried right-clicking on the game row in CMH, and choosing "End Game"? (Apologies if that's a dumb question, but not sure from your post if you've done that or not ...)
  10. Not much direct help to you, but I'm using 10.10.3, and CMSF (still) loads and runs fine for me (sorry!), so I don't think it is a Yosemite 10.10.3 issue per se ...
  11. What Womble means by trees and smoke is that they are always "there" for your troops' spotting - thus possibly limiting spotting severely - but if you turn them off as the player then you cannot see that those degrading factors are present. So you may think your troops have a clear LOS, because you cannot see what is actually blocking their in-game LOS. May not be the issue here, but it has been the case (ask me how I know ... ) that explains some odd spotting issues.
  12. I did (as I have done many times before) my upgrade mid game ... mid many games, in fact, and as before CMH coped without blinking ... Deleted the old version, installed and ran the new one (on a Mac ...): voila! Done ... All ongoing games present and correct.
  13. Thanks GaJ! I have to use this new version, just to get the proper game icon ...
  14. Just downloaded these; haven't opened / used them yet to be able to comment, but wanted to say thanks for making them available, and supporting the game and the community. Cheers!
  15. The current dropbox location for v1.5.0 ... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jvh9sx2zla2k0eq/S6LZaVAw_7 has a Mac .dmg file and a PC/Windows .zip file ... If you have a .zip file, I suspect you have downloaded the Windows version, not the Mac file ... hence it won't open / run?
  16. A screenie with 1) movement paths displayed and 2) the command panel showing may be more informative ... Are the trucks showing as having a driver present in the state in which they will not execute the movement orders?
  17. Plus 1 from me! Given that all the calculations of what LOS you have, or don't, are being made from the waypoint in question, it seesm like MORE work to make the line orginate visually from a spot that is NOT the calculation origin point? Also, how is the portion of the LOS line that shows LOS / no LOS calculated, given that the distance of the obstacle from the (measuring) furure waypoint is different to the distance from the (visual origin) currrent waypoint?
  18. From my experience, I'd agree with Michael ... if you place, say, a tank waypoint with the edge of the waypoint circle butting right up against the visible near edge of a hedge, the tank will stop with its nose pushed through the hedge (if it is able to do so). You do (eventually!) get a sense for what leeeway you need to leave; if you want the tank to have LOS through the hedge, experiment by setting the waypoint just short of the hedge, and selecting the waypoint and trying a target command to the far side ... if you don't have LOS you need to nudge the waypoint a bit closer ... at a point you will get the LOS through the hedge, representing the front of the vehicle being *just* close enough to the hedge that the crew is deemed to be able to see / target through it ...
