  1. Even 68 years ago I wouldn´t want to sit in a Tiger Tank - you need no Abrams to be slaughtered inside of this vehicle And even inside of an Abrams, I think you have really good chances to die, if you have to fight against modern antitank-systems But with the coming of the new module, I´ll make a series about the 503 and that´s why I´m happy.
  2. That´s right, but even in August 1944 almost only the two Tiger-Battalions of the SS clashed with American Units - and there are no SS-Units you can choose until now. And the Tigers of the 503 had only some very short meetings with US at the end of August. What I wanted to say was, I am very happy about the first module, because then it will possible to play real Tiger Units
  3. Hey, if you want to be historical absolutely correct, then there wouldn´t be any Tigers in CMBN before the release of the commonwealth modul. During the battle of the Normandy, only three German units used the Tiger tank: = schw. SS-Panzer-Abteilung 101 (later 501), Tiger I - from August on Tiger II, British/Canadian Sector = schw. SS-Panzer-Abteilung 102 (later 502), Tiger I, British/Canadian Sector = Schw. Heeres-Panzer-Abteilung 503, from middle of July till August 1944, equipped with Tiger I and the first regular company of Tiger II , mostly British/Canadian Sector - after the beginning of the German withdraw to the east, some of the tigers of this Abteilung have fought against American Units eastwards of the River Seine in middle/late August 1944 And I have forgotten some Tiger II of Panzerlehr which have been from the first production line and which haven´t been used in bigger battles because of technical problems. So, in the American Sector during June/July 1944 normally no GI could have seen any Tiger Tank (may be, some fought in the assault against Mortain at the end of July - at the moment, I am not sure about this). Regards Frank
  4. Hey everybody, today I have finished the campaign "A bloody ride". After the single scenarios and some parts of the campaign have been tested - Thank you very much for all the mails and suggestions/critics and so on - I now need some guys, who want to test the whole thing ( I call it Beta-version). And if these guys say it is really "a blody ride" - then this baby will be free for download My E-mail:f-s-zbg@web.de p.s.: some guys, I couldn´t answer during the last two weeks, have already got a mail Regards Frank
  5. Hey everybody, after a long time, I have finished now four scenarios of my campaign and I need volunteers for testing them. I would be very glad if there were some guys doing this... Regards Frank
  6. Hey, @ Sequoia an Eddie: The following German Divisions (and only these units) used the "Panzer II, Luchs": - 9. Panzer-Division (Westfront) - 4. Panzer-Division (Eastfront) - 4. Kavallerie-Division (Eastfront) - Panzerkorps "Hermann Göring" The 116. Panzer-Division had no tanks of this type, and also none of the SS-Divisions. Regards Frank
  7. Hey guys, the first scenario of my campaign "A bloody ride" is now ready for playtesting. Some details like maps, briefing etc. are not complete yet but this follows when the scenario has been tested. I have already one tester but if anyone wants, I send it to him. My e-mail: f-s-zbg@web.de Regards Frank
  8. Oh sorry Rob I am stupid - have overlooked your post... That´s very interesting, we create the action of units, which fight in sectors, that are separated only by a few kilometers. Of course I am very interested in your project. Unfortunately my time is quite limited and reaches barely to finish my own one some day. But you say you have playtesters ? If not, I´ll do my best to help. Regards Frank
  9. It would be nice, if it were possible to rotate barbwire and trenches while creating a scenario - and it would be nice if one could make single foxholes...
  10. Hey Erwin, don´t worry the whole campaign will be tested AND I promise to you, there will be only ONE version of it. Regards Frank
  11. Hey everybody, at the moment I am creating a German Campaign about the fighting of a company of the Panzerlehr-Division on 11th July 1944. This campaign includes 6-8 battles. Within the next 7 days I´m going to complete two, may be three of the battles. Before I take them into the campaign, I´d like to have them tested by some (I hope so) very critical volunteers. Some more Info for testers, who are interested: - The player commands the 7th Company of II.Btl./Panzergrenadier-Lehr-Reg.901 and supporting units. - The campaign shows the fighting on 11th July 1944 from ca. 5am till ca. 19pm - I have tried to make the campaign as historical correct as possible. This means, it will probably be quite hard to play - so, it is nothing for guys who like hollywood fights - The fighting will take place in a landscape full of bocage and small creeks, all in all very confusing. So, if anybody is interested in testing, my E-mail is: f-s-zbg@web.de Regards Frank
  12. Hi De Savage, I am working on a German Campaign. It will be placed at the same day and at the same sector like "Panzer Marsch" but some things will be different: 1. You will play a company of the Panzer-Lehr-Division, which is Part of the KG Schoene, attacking along the way to Le Mesnil Veneron. 2. It will include more battles (6-8). 3. I tried to make the campaign a bit more realistic than "Panzer Marsch" or "Le Desert", especially some details. Most of the maps are already finished and during the next days I will ask here for some playtesters for the single scenarios. So, I hope to complete the campaign during the next 6-8 weeks. It will be the first of a series of campaigns, where you command a company of Panzerlehr - from the first fights against the British in June 44 to the last try to break through the eastfront of the "Ruhrkessel" in April 45. Regards Frank
  13. First of all, CMBN is a great game, the best I have ever played ! But some small details are not pefect IMO: - There are no flamethrowers - there are no burning houses or burning fields/woods - there´s no really heavy fog on the battlefield - it is not possible to move POW´s - tanks and other vehicles roll over humans or AT-guns without any result And the customs has encashed my steelbox  Regards Mr.X
