  1. +1 However, I believe it was said "All the while, our focus remains firmly on the next desktop games for PC and Mac OS X. Watch this space in the next weeks for an upcoming announcement of what's next in store." The way i interpret that is that it wasn't referring to CMBN in particular, heck for all we know they could be talking about a new Strategic Command (Strategic Command Cold War:rolleyes:) game is going to come out in the coming weeks? Who knows but, if they said the next weeks, well knowing BF that could be any time from now till x-mas:p Nonetheless i hope we get some news about CMBN.

  3. Im starting to worry! No CW modual released in the "4-6 weeks" that was posted on 1-18-12. Now no sign of the change log!! This may be a bad omen of things to come for us gamers. I say this as i looked back at the CMBN News line & BF released the Manual for CMBN about a month before the game was released. BF put up the CMBN Manual on 4-26-11, then released the game on 5-17-11. Thus if thats any sign at all(history repeats itself) then we are looking at a late March early April release date for the CW Modual. I hope im dead wrong!!!! Im not mad or trying to blam BF for any of this. Im just looking at history to try & have a better understanding of what lays ahead. Thus nonetheless keep up the good work BF!!!!
  4. How about taking odds? Doesn't Vegas take odds on just about everthing now days? So where do i have to go to put money down on my bet of when the CW Mod will be released? LOL! Wait a minute i can't pplace a bet on this as to I've already spent my money on the pre-order Hope it's sooner than later, but since its a war game were talking about i sense an 11th hour thing here.
  5. Ya reloading is a very enjoyable hobby for me to, that was until i decided to reload 7.35mm Carcano. Then it just turned into a very time consuming job that created more headachs than relaxation. But thankfully i only had to reload around 100 rounds so it was well worth the effort in the long run.
  6. So would anyone here know what the current condition of the NWS Supremacy at Sea PC game? I have read on matrix games forum an old thread a couple years old now that the game initially had lots of bugs. Have any improvements been made in the last year or so to improve the bugs & other issues that hampered the game in the past? I'd like to hear an updated review or status of Supremacy at Sea because I'm looking at perhaps buying this game if it has been improved & fixed up into a good running/playing condition. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

  8. So how do you creat a campaign and load it to edit it and what not? Or do you only creat it as you go, and can never go back to edit it.
  9. Ok I'm clueless here. (don't even know if its possible) So can i load a stock campaign or custom/user made campaign into the editor, and modify it to my own personal tastes? I have no plan or intent of changing any campaign and then re-releasing it. I just want to change or add some things into a few campaigns for my own personal taste. I go into the editor and can only load scenarios from the scenarios folder but when i try and open campaigns in the editor, the campaigns folder is empty, however they're are CAM. files in the campaign folder if i go look in it out side of the game. (programfiles/battlefront/combatmissions.....) looking through my computer. So how can i modify a campaign file to put in say some scout teams or add some Arty support? I could use a walk through! Thanks

  12. Im just hoping that since the patch still isnt out, maybe they're not only fixing bugs, but also adding some candy, like say a couple new scenarios or maybe even a couple new units. Say they added just the M-18 Hellcat, and Hetzer. That would be really nice, dont know if they can add those things in a patch but it would be great if they could. Im not going to hold my breath but i'll maybe keep my fingers crossed. Nonetheless i hope they just get the bugs fixed, bulletproof trees are getting old:D

  14. anybody have an idea of the time frame of the patch? are we talking days, weeks, months..... im just curious if anybody has heard anything from another forum or thread or if the BFC people could stop by this thread and give us any news. Thanks
  15. Ok i've heard roughly whats going to be in the first Module, but does anyone know of a more detailed list of what will be included. ie tanks, vehicles, weapons, arty, units.... I'd just like to have some food for thought so i got something i can look forward to:D
  16. So has anyone heard of what the first patch for CMBN would cover/fix/add. If i recall didnt the CMSF patches add a hand ful of new playable units? That would be great if we could get a playable M18 Hellcat or Hetzer TD in one of the patches.

I'm guess the HQ's you got near your Mortar teams are a battalion HQ's yes they can direct your Mortar teams to fire or even direct their fire through the chain of command (platoon HQ calling in Mortar fire) but i think it says in the manual that you Battalion HQ, while being an HQ, isn't going to "micro-manage" (my term) very many units. Yes they are an HQ, however their not going to do everyone's jobs (to control the mortars through the chain of command using radios is the job of your weapons platoon HQ) ie. like them telling 2 or more mortar teams what to do, how to do it, when to do it, so on so forth. remember these are the higher ranking officers in your Battalion HQ's so their not going to want to get down and dirty so to speak, just to pick up the Platoon's HQ slack. heres an example: 1st platoon needs mortar support on right flank 1st platoon spots for mortar fire & radios your 4th (weapons) platoon HQ the details(where to fire, how long to fire...) this only works if your 4th Pl. HQ is near your mortars. 4th platoon HQ relays firing instructions to mortars, then they fire on the target coordinates then the process repeats until mortars are on target and complete the fire mission. Hope this all helps and if I'm wrong please let me know.
  18. Well i was playing a QB small rough Map and had four Stugs attacking my line. I was the defender, well i was able to get around back of the Stugs with the Only Tank i had, an M5A1. Well this M5A1 tank was able to knock out three Stugs with some ease. (took a few rear shots with that pea shooter 37mm but he done it):eek:. However the last Stug just would not die. thus i ended up following that Stug around the Map for about 3 mins. just hitting him with rear shots that were penetrating or at least partially penetrating at 150M-225M. I had to back away a couple times and reengage cuz he tried turning on me to shoot. So after dodging him & reengaging a couple times my little M5A1 finally got that last Stug:D I believe my M5A1 in those 3 Mins. put approx. 10-15 37mm shots that hit & got penetration into the rear half of that Stug until he started to burn & his crew bailed. Man oh Man that 3 Min. seemed to take forever. and what can i say that stug is one tough stubborn piece of armour. Good German engineering for ya
