  1. Indeed, the release of four versions of the games all at once at the same time is a rare event. Even a patch is likely to put them out of sync again. BTW thanks for the instructions. Doing that on my own is on my long to-do list
  2. Yes, and the question is do you still see the same problem with version 4? I cannot tell if you tested it or are just being snarky.
  3. How about uploading them to the new CM mods site then the files are managed by another site and you get no time out or limit problems.
  4. Just to be clear that has not changed in the v4 engine. From the beginning all rounds have been tracers. Or at least that is how it is supposed to be.
  5. Did you reproduce the problem? I have not got a chance yet.
  6. Good information there @Sailor Malan2 before anyone starts on that project perhaps @Vein would chime in on his plans? Please
  7. Redone. The graphics files names' were changed. That's my understanding any way.
  8. Yes same. With Vein's even at higher camera positions I am still happy.
  9. I think @akd's video shows that they look pretty good. I liked vein's mod so hopefully he will update his with the other colours. No, not all rounds are tracers in real life but in game they are to make it easier to see what is happening. It is that way for playability.
  10. Yeah, this is not ideal behaviour but I don't remember getting this to work. I agree we should log it. Do you have saves? Even for version 1. I'll load them up in 2 and verify that the same thing happens. I'll pm you my email.
  11. LOL, yay, I think. What does that mean? Need a memory refresh.
  12. Yeah what ken said What has changed is the smoke, which I think looks cool and not at all star wars ish. The red tracers look like they did before but now other nations have a different colour. There were always people that thought the tracers looked like lazers. Now they just get to tell us all about it again. V4 is the gift that keeps on giving
  13. Bummer again. Send me a PM with what is going wrong. I would be happy to help talk you through getting it to work.
  14. No, but some one will likely mod them. Sounds like you have the desire yourself
  15. Bummer. Here is how I have things setup: Java is on my path - which is what the java vm installer does by default. (1) I have the ScAnCaDe in a directory C:\Programs\ScAnCaDe Then you create a directory where you place your campaign files (you can do it in the game's directory but I prefer to do this in a scratch location where I copy the .cam and .btt files I am interested to) Using the command prompt change directory to the location above e.g.: cd \temp\campaigns Then in that location type this command: java -jar C:\Programs\ScAnCaDe\CMx2_ScAn_CaDe_v2.0.jar That will produce the output files in the current directory along side the .cam and .btt files. (1) You can test that java is on your path by typing java -version at the command prompt. I believe you need java 1.7 or above for the program to work. If java is not on your path you can either add it to your path or change the command above to something like: C:\PathToJava\java -jar C:\Programs\ScAnCaDe\CMx2_ScAn_CaDe_v2.0.jar Note: the above paths have no spaces in them to keep things simple. If your paths have spaces then adding quotes in the right places will make it work.
  16. It is ScAnCaDe from @Mad Mike : http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=3476
  17. Hey, @MarkEzra any plans to upload to the scenario depot? http://www.thefewgoodmen.com/tsd3/
  18. There is a time limit after which you can no longer edit. I am not sure what the time limit is though. BTW I also think your analysis is correct as well.
  19. Yes, it will slow it down and there is an increased chance of blogging while crossing. That is what is supposed to happen at any rate.
  20. I posted about making prepared tank positions and even attached maps. Check it out here
  21. The full will allow you to install the whole thing from scratch on a clean machine or in a clean directory. The smaller one is for installing over top of an existing fully patched game. PS while the licensing issues are addressed you can install your older game to a separate directory and keep playing. PPS oops sorry you guys are finding licensing problems. For whatever reason during testing these issues didn't come up. Bummer wish we would have hit them ourselves before you saw them.
