  1. Hasn't been uploaded yet. PT said he would upload it on the Repository, the minute the 1.20 "Plain Jane" is out!
  2. Check out this url :http://opnem.net/ Since the campaign is not scheduled to begin before the release of the NATO module, the game master is completing the operational and tactical rules... The dev blog can provide you some useful informations about the progression of the making process. I let sdp, our game master explain this
  3. My own little classic... It's a T-72 firing on 3 aligned BMPs! I never ever aligned my vehicles like this...
  4. Sure, would be sweet ! I keep telling myself that it is better if we get the French forces in CMSF 2, with a setting around 2010, instead of having it in the 2008 Syrian setting... Why? Because our forces began to get our new IFV the "VBCI" in 2009. I would feel ashamed to go to war with our former "AMX-10P" !
  5. Yeeeah! Can't wait to play the second part of the Campaign!
  6. Sorry for the rather "short" answer There are several ways to end a scenario : - The enemy, or you surrender. The game calculates the Victory Points based on the surrenderer worst score possible. - The clock reaches the scenario's time limit (but sometimes, the scenario designer set an "hidden" additional time limit, but you don't know how much time it is). - Hit the "cease fire" button, to end the battle immediately. The game calculates your Victory Points based on the current situation. That means if you are satisfied with your mission's achievements (or you aren't but you want to end the mission because of high casualties), or you achieved your objectives but can't force the enemy to surrender, you can stop the battle.
  7. Yes, it does. Small arms ammo, grenades & others pieces of equipment like RPG rounds...
  8. I've found this page about the AZUR kit. There are some nice photos. "AZUR Kit : - ERA Kit against RPGs, plus a set of slat armor. - Protection kit against incendiary projectiles and flaming liquids. - wireless communication system with footsoldiers. - reverse alarm, panoramic sighting device. - remotely operated 7.62mm MG with day/night sight. - supply trunks on the rear of the vehicle, instead of the disposable fuel tanks. - electrical interface for civilian hardware." Here is also a pic that shows the elements of the kit in blue :
  9. Most likely, yes. The paper-thin armor (or is it armour? ) of the BMP is obviously no match for an AP round from an Abrams... I've posted a picture few months ago, with a 125mm shell fired down a road which went through 3 BMPs
  10. I thought it worked only for "on-map" mortars, like the British 51mm?
  11. It won't be the Spaniards neither... Except for their Leopards 2, their G-36 Assault Rifles and their MG3s and MG4s... the rest is completely unique : Wheeled (6x6) APC : BMR-600 Tracked IFV : Pizarro Wheeled TD : Centauro (Italian) And so on, and so on...
  12. To complete what is was saying about Italian stuff : - They also have a unique wheeled tank-destroyer : "Centauro" - They field a large quantity of variants of the venerable M113 chassis. I'll post about Spain later.
  13. Their main battle tank : the "Ariete", and their IFV "Dardo" for starters... I'll need to dig a little for the rest
  14. We're talking about two armies with unique kits... That would be sweet, but anyway... I'm mentally prepared to wait 'til CM:SF2 to see Leclercs and VCIs rolling on a german highway to stop the russian wave, with Rafale providing CAS
  15. French Brigade in CMSF? It has been discussed before by Steve, and I think it's not going to happen
  16. Maybe it is the same system that is in use with the BMPs  The crew is only two, rising to 3 with the team/squad leader acting as vehicle commander (you can see him jumping on his hatch). Same with the M3 Bradley if I remember well
  17. If you're right, they did the same thing with the Bradley, who can only carry 6 or 7 soldiers in reality. But for gameplay purposes, they eliminated the "cross-loading" problems by expanding the cargo
  18. Maybe when on the field, commanders prefer to load a few M-136s instead of a Jav round?
