  1. Clear target's the way I do it. Odd why it's not available for you.
  2. 2.4.4 I downloaded it last week. It shows the little checkerboard pattern but then when I look at the image in any other program it shows as black (which it didn't do before... it was the preexisting gray). </font>
  3. Reminds me of the OH&S signage at a local special forces training centre that the assault course was not to be used as it was considered dangerous! go figure, next thing you know it'll be mandatory break-times and no live rounds incase someone gets hurt.

  5. Which version of GIMP are you using coz I just found out only 2.4 supports alpha in bmp files.
  6. Ok Adam1's hometown is up at CMMods for anyone that wants to add to it. have put in some foliag, streetlights and traffic lights for starters, lots more to if anyone wants to join in it's up there anyhoo.

Just expanding on the 'assaulting buildings' disucssion over at tactics forum and seeing as 1.07 is on it's way..ahem..ahem..I'm wondering if the BLAST order could be given as a FIRE command rather than a MOVEMENT order. Most times I'm blasting into somewhere i don't want to then have my dudes just wander through the whole to get a hosing on the other side. I'd like to make the hole then set up a co-ordinated attack through it. Also wonder the if it was a FIRE order instead if the blasting charges could be used on bunkers and vehicles too.
  12. Yes the patch I got from ausgamers works fine with my Paradox, paradoxically Apart from the crash at 1 sec replay WEGO which has now been fixed for 1.07.
  13. A little grenade and spray set piece would be great wouldn't it? And yes I do concur that whilst it's great that 1.05 fixed blasting issues it'd be good not to have it as a MOVEMENT ORDER but as a FIRE order instead. That way the chaps don't have to just wander into the area which seems often ill-advised. Hmm, I might put that in a different thread maybe they can change it in 1.07
  14. I DL'd the one from the ausgamers website using the link off the battlefront downloads page and works no worries.Was before the 11th tho.
  15. ...and it might be a big stick approach but maybe a complete HDD reformat and reinstall of windows see how that goes. Big job I know but every time I've done it it's almost like a new computer again.

  18. That's it hey? Just takes a bit of thinking and management [that's why I tend to play WEGO most of the time so I can have a cup of tea and think about each move, kind of like playing chess] and it seems 1.06 is rewarding that tactical thinking a lot more.

  21. Mind if the map is rotated clockwise a bit? Will make the main roads and intersection more accurate coz the editor don't allow such a gentle angle as that shown. Be able to get spacings more precise if the roads come in at 90 degrees. Also the scale on the photo - at the far right it says 503m yet based on the scale bar of 224m I work out the map to be 896m x 640m [0.7m per pixel, 1280 x 915 pixel image] so I going with 0.7m per pixel for consistency anyway, hope that's OK. BTW I think this thread should maybe be moved to Scenario Design? Don't know how to do that though, will leave it with you and hack on anyway.
