  1. Well, i actualy saw US troops hit a t72 today, and it delivered the killing blow. On that subject, has anyone else noticed t72's often take two hits to kill it, even with javalin.
  2. so, the inevitable question of how long do we have to wait for this Marine module, im not being impatient or anything its just gimmie gimmie gimmie
  3. Agreed, i hardly ever see US infantry hit a vehicle with the at-4, and alot of the time they can even miss buildings!
  4. i dont know about underpowered but they are still to accurate, i got hit from 400 meteres today and thats not funny. I finished hamertime today as well, and i had one bradley survive a hit and one die from a hit. the surviver was at about the same range as yours.
  5. Its good to be able to play the game again. Now, wheres the marine module
  6. Ok, ill be the first. Why do bradleys still fire thier Tow's at infantry? You all happy now
  7. Pandur has struck gold there, now the game is living up to expectations it'd be good if reviewers covered it again. Has anyone noticed how your guys mill around for 30 seconds or so before setling into position.... how cool is that.
  8. lololol, spoken like a man who has seen one to many shell suits
  9. well, the forum clock say's its still only midday (if im reading it right) so "late monday" is still 5 hours away at least!
  10. Magnum was just the pretty face, we all know it was Higgins who was ninja
  11. Ssshhhhh, dont encourage them!
  12. Late eastern was the rumour, but i didnt see the thread that started it. What would be great if someone from battlefront would say if thats still the plan
  13. The barrel length of the abrams main cannon is around 12 feet, that means the trees would have to be at least 25 feet apart for the turret to turn fully and therefore be fully effective. Now then, i dont mind the idea of tanks being able to drive into "denser" woodland than that but if they do they should suffer the same effects as in real life. Other than using the trees as a temporary "roof" to offer some degree of cover i dont think any tank crew would take thier tank into a wood where they couldnt swing thier boom stick round.
  14. Yeah, i think someone said late in the day US time so roll on midnight i say
  15. Im ready and waiting, im not leaving this desk till i have the patch. W00t w00t (i just hope im not still here in 12 hours)
  16. I agree with jason, especialy about the woods. ive known i few tankies in my life so far and none of them ever expresed a liking of trees. Obviously it not to much of an issue for a 60 ton tank to push trees down, but the turret wouldnt be able to traverse if they got bumped whilst surrounded by trees.
  17. this is a poor showing and no mistake...... oh well, we shall keep our vigil!
  18. Just curious how many people are poised over thier keyboards waiting for the new patchy goodness? I, for one,am waiting in a state of slug like readyness
  19. Hi BFC, im currently trying to build a big map in the editor, thing is at some time during the process ( while actualy making or later after reloading to carry on work ) my cursor becomes "laggy" while moving over the map part of the editor screen. The map size im on currently is 1500m x 1500m, covered in grass with a few reasonble sized clumps of trees. When i made the map the editor was smooth but when i loaded it back up it had gone laggy. My question, to aid me making bigger maps is what is causing that lag. Im guessing that its a memory issue but im also guessing its a simple question My system specs are: Intel core2 quad 2.40ghz Asus p5b deluxe mainboard 2gig ddr2 corsair 8500 8800gtx 762mb i think that covers it all, hope you can help.
  20. Thanks all, this has been a great thread and very informative, and my hat goes of to all the match people with bigger noggins than me
  21. Sounds reasonable to me, i did a little research myself and like i said couldnt figure out what the deal was. Thought this was a good place to ask the question. You know at least one person here likes cold food and has a fondness for hiding in bushes
  22. Not quite related to the game but i was wondering how the coriolis effect actualy influences long range sniper fire. I understand the definition of it, just not how a sniper compensates for it. If anyone can help here i'd love to learn something about this.
