  3. quality vid, but whats that i spy on the stryker in the foreground, is it some sort of camo netting to hide the guys maning the air observer hatch's or is it a metal cage? the edges on it look very straight for netting...... What is it???

  6. I appreciate that BFC have had a lot of work on the last few months but it seems to me that waiting 6 weeks to fix something that the testers should have spotted straight away is wrong. So then Battlefront, why have we had to wait so long for this fix?

  12. Personaly if steve said charles has fixed the bug then they should release that now in a hotfix, as stated the low wall bug KILLS the game!
  13. Motivation is motivation, take its as it comes my friend. We do desperately need a fix for the low wall bug, its made alot of scenarios (every one that includes a low wall) unplayable.
  14. I dont understand steve, are there two requests here? One about formations at the platoon level and one for formations at the squad level. Surely we need a switch that can alow the squad to move forward in either line or column formation. Column would allow us to move forward exposing fewer team members to initial contact while line would alow us to bring maximum firepower once contact is made. I undestand that the squad level formation argument musn't even have come up with CMx1 because that level of detail was abstracted. As for the AI choosing these formations for you the TacAI has an advantage over the player because you can set its "alert level" and the ai can decide how to move its boys from that setting. The player doesnt have this particular comand, we order our boys for virtualy every move they make so need that little bit extra control. [ January 08, 2008, 07:59 AM: Message edited by: Hev ]

  16. Errrrr, are you saying you only have the right speaker or are you saying you only have ONE speaker? Stereo sound should come through one speaker evenly! And if you only have the right speaker get some new ones for gods sake, i recomend Altec Lansing (very boomy)

  19. But thats another issue, as i mentioned before sometimes you want to ambush using your atgms regardless of wether your cannon can take it out! Im not saying we dont need an armour cover arc, im saying we need something that gives us more comand over our atgm's ASWELL!!
  20. If you actualy watch the action you'll notice your guys generely only get hit when on "spotting" behaviour. This implys that they are sticking thier head up to look around and they get hit! In most cases when i squad gets pinned they stop taking cassualties for a time while they stay down. It also seems to me that degridation of cover might also be modled 'cos after a time even pinned squads will take casualties. For me this is doing a reasonable job of simulating the "cutting edge" of combat, and compared to any other wargame/simulation out there im happy with how the firefights progress.
  21. See the problem with a "cover armour" arc would be sometimes the vehicle doesnt need to use its atgm to take out the target ie when a braddley is shooting a bmp. So because its cannon can take out a bmp the bradley would never use its TOW, we need a way to prioritise the atgm.
