  1. Well if they want to have nuclear energy they need to enrich uranium don't they? Maybe you missed what's been going on with regard to that topic for the last couple of decades.
  2. What I understood is that they struck a drone factory. But haven't really dug deep it's Sunday so I had to show up at some football field for 90min + 3rd half
  3. Apart from that misinformed qualification, I tend to agree that Israel is the usual suspect. In this case I'd say well done, although I'm no fan of the usual behavior of the government of Israel especially now there's some regime which has more in common with Taliban than 'the West' in several area's. But that's off topic
  4. I guess people don't like taking losses they can't prevent. After my previous post some more m60s came to the ridge but they took atgm to the face. However enemy choppers took down 2 t62, gun runned my Shilka damaging it and incapacitating a crew member. And a rocket attack immobilized a BTR. Couldn't do much about it but that's life / (simulated) war I guess. I probably should have just rushed things forward into the town so more difficult for the enemy choppers. So far I'm enjoying the battle.
  5. I just started this one up and while my CRP did in fact ID some tanks and a TOW m113, I didn't get to destroy/suppress them before the FSE came in. Although I could adjust my 122battery fire onto the observed mech infantry on the edge of the town on the right. When my FSE spawned I dismounted my infantry fearing a big slaughter but the firefight quickly went my way. Did lose two BTR (sans passengers fortunately) but the tanks and ATGM-BTR did good job. One ID'ed enemy tank left but it can't shoot down on the right flank. Shilka took down a chopper (and did a good job suppressing an m60 as well), but is now out of ammo while another chopper is coming overhead. Anyway that's how far I got until a PBEM turn came in. Have all my TRPs on this side of the mountain, not sure if that is wise but I thought at least the rest of the map can be observed from the mountain once we get there. So at least my start isn't that 'unpleasant', perhaps got lucky or have a different AI plan.
  6. Although there's no magic fix it seems to help to put 1 waypoint before and 1 waypoint after the bridge. Making sure there is enough space between vehicles moving over also helps preventing a cluster****.
  7. Well it makes sense to defend using the terrain to your advantage and especially reverse slopes.
  8. Probably a consequence of that file mixup issue. At the very least you guys still got points for this round if it isn't fixable @jheinrichk Abrams surviving a close range partial penetration front lower hull by 125 APFSDS. I guess the driver needs new set of undies, at least he doesn't need to open the hatch to throw the old ones out.
  9. I'll keep to my superstitions. I think I tried changing them and faced, accidental or not, increased immobilizations.
  10. Thanks. I don't get emotional about how much tanks get send, but Surikat may he rest in peace.
  11. I think just changing the move orders helps against bogging, but I usually try reversing as well just because that seems logic.
  12. All depends imo, good cover is usually preferable I'd say as it helps against mortars / artillery and generally all incoming.
  13. Yes we will sit like ducks on your TRP PS What is your USSR platoon doing casually strolling around my left flank? Never mind some good ole target practice
  14. No worries though, all the 30mm ammo is still conserved for maximum brrt powah, but 1 Maverick has been utilized.
  15. Artillery Observation vehicle? If lucky including observers Edit: to be serious I think 1 pixeltruppen.
  16. Another difference with regards to the car analogy is that if you change from manual to automatic gear vehicle, it doesn't eat your arm if you hold it at the knob too long. A minor but not unimportant detail I guess
  17. One could hope current events are some sort of an alarm clock, but the snooze danger is still there I guess ;-). At the same time the cultural difference that history has 'provided', might give us some extra snooze time and be late for work but still get the job done. As long as we don't fall to too much into the 'corporate culture' trap, imo.
  18. This friend(s) also have a lot of interests of his/their own.
  19. So people should stop worrying about when and just get on with the job, it will be ready when it is ready :). When things are close to ready those involved will know it and others can start planning around with the new assets. Wise would it be to not plan the most difficult/complex task as the first in the queue.
  20. I can recommend duckduckgo privacy essentials browser extension. I have it on chrome. Their search isn't on same level as google but you can always go to google.com still, or change default search engine.
