  1. what do you need to run Bulge-era battles in CMAK? is it a mod?
  2. got mine on Friday (5/11/07), New York, USA.
  3. wow, that was sweet!! BFC should hire you for all their promotional video work. best thing I have seen yet!!
  4. that's cool! he looks like he's ready to teeter off down the hill though!
  5. well, the camera set up in CMBB/CMAK is just easier, and thus, superior. that being said, I am trying not to let the bad camera in ToW get me down. it's just not as user friendly as it should be, and is my only (and I mean ONLY) complaint about ToW.
  6. heh heh, don't make me come to "El Centro"
  7. hey where do you live man? I was wondering if mine would be there as well...
  8. for me, it's the "tacticalness" of the game, and I think the game is best suited for small-unit actions, and the like. I further look forward to custom scenarios and campaigns that focus more on relatively small-unit engagements.

  11. I hear what you are saying, but I am still playing both. I had alot of PBEM stuff in progress, and I am still enjoying it.
  12. same here. they work, period. Never had a problem either.
  13. in brief, I believe that post-Kursk, the germans had to use the armor the way the poster above indicated, due to numerical shortages. I link this with the nick-name for the Waffen SS motorized & armored units, which was, at that time and after, "Hitler's Firemen." [ May 08, 2007, 09:15 AM: Message edited by: Vergeltung ]
  14. it was more in mud, than in water. which I believe would account for it's great condition.
  15. wow, this is certainly an un-expected surprise, and great news indeed!!
  16. well, it's been awhile since I read it, but there are so many demonstrable (sp?) inacurracies and problems with it, I think it's more than a "few historians" that have problems with it. I mean, IIRC, he goes from the transport corps (truck driver) to the elite Gross Deutschland Division. . then, he places the GD Division in combat in an area they were not even close to at that time period. things like that.
  17. heck buddy, you owe ME money for making me read your idiocy.
  18. it's a nice novel, but not history.
  19. ok, I'll check that out. also, after a few coffees, I think i *did* find some good stuff. thanks for the reply. Proest!
