  1. I usually skip that mission by asking for a cease fire, the one that comes after it as a fail is a lot of fun to play.
  2. The communications department I work for is not too different from advertising... I called it immediately. Great looking preview.
  3. "cliches" That is the operative word for why that show was horrible. The Unit is infinately better because in addition to not taking itself too seriously, it is highly entertaining.
  4. I highly recommend the two Tactical Vignettes. Passage to Wilcox is my personal favorite of all the included stand alone scenarios.
  5. Normal dude had good points. I also find that my infantry do a lot better if I dosmount about 300m out and have them "assault" to the objective building with the stryker acting as a fire support system. Once the enemy infantry is clear, bring the stryker forward. Rushing the stryker into a danger area and then dismounting is very dangerous. Get those 9 sets of eyes outside the vehicle before going in. Then use the stryker for copious amounts of suppression.
  6. The unit will typically face which ever direction it was last moving in. The arc will face the turret to the center of the arc. A series of waypoints right at the end of a longer movement order tends to get my units into position perfectly. Also, make those last movement orders slow or "move", that tends to help keep the TACAI from getting all "smart" on you.
  7. I use them as overwatch for the other infantry. Specifically, I have them target high value enemy like leaders and MG's.
  8. Yeah, the 101st used that gamey TOW tactic on Uday and his Brother in '03... They were so pissed after.
  9. Yes, it is regrouping. Tip, if you hit cancel because they are under fire, try popping smoke to help screen the reorg.
  10. No Steve. Once you start one way, it stays that way for the durration. You of all people told me this!
  11. The TAS AI controls formations and the fine placement of where troops will position themselves. It's not as micromanaged as say, XCOM.
