  1. I've got it, we get a headwrapped middle eastern man to make a video of him talking to the camera, telling us how, he and his group of terrorists use it to realisticaly train to fight and kill Americans. Then we get him to post it on YouTube, Google Video, Liveleak and Metacafe. After that, we just wait for the media to go nuts, saying its a terrorist training tool and then Jack Thompson would come and say how its realistic depiction of war is corrupting our youth. BFC would have more advertisement and sales than they could handle.
  2. I was watching some of the recent videos and was a little displeased with the tracers. Here are the best in-game that ive ever seen.
  3. That was my point Mike. I knew he was hit just by what I saw through the animation. And nobody asked for "Flying Limbs" LMAO...that's the whole entire, absurdity of these threads whenever anything like this comes up. Flanker asked a simple question and everyone turns it into a blood bath with signs of the apocalypse thrown in for added flavor. Mord. </font>
  4. Sounds good, as long as he doesnt snap to the ground or look like a robot doing it.
  5. Can we expect some intestinal splatter (mixed with a good amount of blood) within a technical's interior if we open up on it with a 25mm bushmaster?? You know, something along the lines of Rambo IV's Ma Duece scene?? http://www.firstshowing.net/2007/05/19/john-rambo-iv-feature-trailer/ (2:11) But in all seriousness, having at least some decals wouldnt hurt. I know that in real life, there is no blood spray from small arms (:cough: 25mm), but after people hit the ground, they bleed. As for vehicles, this is now 1:1, so there has to be some kind of hit detetection, so yall should add something along the lines of TOW: bullet/shell holes, richochet dings, scorch marks, etc. We dont really need dismemberment or anything (though CoH and RO benefit from it), but some indication of death, injuries, KO's and all around battle would make it that much more immersive. ALSO for death animations, we're not asking for Hollywood style deaths, spinning 180 before falling to the ground, but we are at least looking for something more than CMx1 (standing then ground, no animation). Ragdoll usually potrays it pretty well (AA and RO), or Death animations that are realistic but have feeling (OFP and maybe/possibly GRAW 2).
  6. I dont know, "we didnt start the fire" popped almost immediatly into my head (something about major tensions in the world and this simulated war). Also, this kinda helps http://www.break.com/index/gernadewash.html (some language)
  7. Ive been playing all the Cmx1's on dual core without a problem
  8. Please, please tell me ATI cards can render your fog now. I played all the CMx1's without fog, so on a map with it, I was like "heh, i guess my guys just cant see as far".
  9. I was just wondering if yall are going to have support for Anti Aliasing and AF in Strike Force. Forced AF seemed to work when on in CM, but when Anti Aliasing was forced (though I believe it would work) it would cause white boxes to cover all text. Just asking, because I was checking the Blog screens and thought that they could be much more crisp if Anti Aliasing was supported. 10. Of course you do, and you don't need to cheat either, because Tripwire have already done the cheating for you. </font>
  11. The round hit at to much of an angle and didnt detonate? Im not sure if bazookas ever did that, but I know that the Green Beret had some ricochets with the LAW's and BMP's in vietnam (though I think they were malfunctions with the LAW round)
  12. I have no problems with any of the choices yall make, as long as yall still make the game But couldnt yall escalade the seriousness of the situation to come up with a deeper background story? Like the U.S. have just launched a ground war into Syria, using the minimal amount of force to accomplish the job with less soldiers at risk. While in the ground war fighting syrians (breaking down terrorist organizations and cells holed up in Syria), the U.S. runs into stiff opposition and realize that the enemy are using some modern russian equipment (T-80's, T-90's, etc.). After a hasty retreat to regroup (the small american force is outnumbered), intel releases information that there has been an Iranian interdiction (They mobolized as fast as they could to catch the american forces off-guard). As the American force on the ground fight a defensive war, gradually being pushed back, the U.S. is mobilizing everything they can get their hands on. As more and more U.S. forces enter Syria, the tables start to turn as they push back the Iranian/Syrian forces. Then <insert some kind of war ending scenarios, like Iran being pushed across the border, or capture of a high ranking figure>. So basically, small U.S. force fights and still outnumbers and outguns the Syrian forces (US on the offensive in the first part of the war). Interdiction by a major country in the surrounding area, using modern equipment, US forces outnumbered, matched in firepower, and fighting defensively. US mobolizes, outnumbers or matches combined major country/Syrian forces and go back on the offensive. With this scenario, with the US being in trouble, you could even throw in some coalition forces units and missions as well (Americans not the big guys on the block in a war, BLASHPEMY ). Like canadians, germans or the british. Just a thought. P.S.- the first time I read the OP post, OPFORIA from Americas Army popped into my head .
  13. Well, Im pretty sure this used to be Battlefield Command, then Wartime Command, then WW2 RTS and now its what it is, Theatre of War. The original release date was supposed to be for Spring 2004 , I still have the PC gamer that first mentioned it in November 2003 (or around there)
