Retributar: Actually, I have already started the map and localization changes. The tough part will be the unit bitmaps, I need: Infantry for Gondor, Rohan, Mordor (Orcs), Isengard (Orcs), Rhun, Dunland, Khand, Harad/Umbar, Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits and Men of the North. Cavalry for Gondor, Rohan, Mordor (Warg Riders), Isengard (Warg Riders), Rhun, Harad/Umbar and Men of the North. Elite Forces for Gondor (Knights), Mordor (Great Uruks and Trolls), Isengard (Uruk-Hai), Harad/Umbar (Olpihants), Rhun (Wainriders), Ents, Nazgul, Dead Men and Goblins, Men of the North (Rangers). The flags should be easy and HQs will be changed to Hero Units such as Aragorn, Gandalf, Elrond, Sauruman, Gothmog etc. I will also need bitmaps for cities, strongholds/castles and villages.The scenario will start after the break up of the fellowship with event scripts to trigger the Ents, Dead Men, Ring Movement etc. If you know any sources, let me know. I have tried my files from Battle for Middle Earth One and Two but they are all in file types that I don't know, unlike SC2 which are bitmaps.

Major: I have not added those scripts yet for the Reichskommissariate, next version. I have added Kaunus and moved Vilna. I will change Guzzoni to Amadeo d'Aosta. I have revamped much of the naval OOBs for all nations to the historical starting positions and build queues. Abyssinia upon liberation will be able to build corps. Lastly, which tile do you recommend for Dobrudja to Bulgaria? Normal Dude: I understand that its alot of work. Once the scripts are done, email them to me and I will go through them one by one for use in my scenario. -

I have no country slots left. If I can free one up somewhere (Maybe combine Vichy and French-West Africa again) I will put Abyssinia in first. I haven't included Dobrudja to Bulgaria yet. Its just one tile so not a priority. I will add the gun laying radar to the Admiral Graf Spee. I also plan on adding a few Royal Navy capital ships to the Build queue. I thought Tallin and Vilna were the other Baltic capitals? I will double check the Vienna conference scripts and fix anything that needs to be fixed. Thanks for the updates! Normal Dude has by scenario and I hope that he can have his scripts working with it soon. I blocked off the extreme Northwest corner to add some more off map hexes at a later date. I didn't think that anyone would be sailing their ships around Baffin Island anytime soon anyway. -
Thanks, I needed something like this to fill out the force pools and starting OOBs for the Royal Navy in my custom campaign.

That said, I do plan on going further East to include all of India and Burma and have Japanese and UK troops duke it out on the Eastern edge of the map. I may as well then continue South and put Antarctica in as well, as didn't the Nazis build a secret base there where they are now planning to take over the world? -

There was no need to do the extra work of adding the Southern half of Africa when little to nothing happened down there. Game play is served by having South Africa and Madagascar as "off map" tiles. The time to get around the bottom of the map is the same as if I had kept the old naval loops. -
Play my Honch Expanded 1939 Campaign on cmmods. I have added the port of Belfast, the minor city of Belfast and a UK garrison of Northern Ireland.

Blashy, there a bunch of localized files that are quite big so I would recommend downloading from CMMods. Normal Dude, I am emailing you the event scripts and Campaign.cgn file right now. -

I will adjust Graziani and Guderian, an oversight. I had to change the atomic bomb system as I realized that even at tech level 0, anyone can spend the MPPs and get a bomb (previously rockets). Therefore I put everyone at tech 5 to maximize the damage effects of a bomb if they have it. I then changed it so that nobody can buy anymore chits to research it. I bumped up the MPPs required for production so that only the US can realistically afford it but the USSR, Germany and UK have a very late war chance if they really want to damage their war effort. The increased cost and increased production delay will now represent the research and development of the bomb. It should work out fine. I then added a bomb to the production queue for the US in November 1945. (The system allows for them to get one earlier if they save their MPPs for a year or so, buy it and then wait another 3 years for it to appear. The AIs are quite basic until I get the new ones that should be nearing completion? I did, however, notice that the AI moves the Italian forces in East Africa around and did some attacking. -

You should be able to run the old game but the terrain changes may not appear or may do strange things. -
Even better would be having some open unit slots so that we create our own units! (Am I beating a dead horse with this one?)

Modders Patch 1.03 Wish List

Good list guys, I think that we four are the main modders (Major being a source of ideas) on this site and need Hubert's help. 1. A nice touch would be the UK being able to purchase a limited number of French, Polish, Greek and/or Dutch units after those countries surrender. (Free Forces) This would free up a country slot for me as I have created Free France as a minor country. I would like to use this slot for Abyssinia. 2. I agree with Major, more robust annexation and surrender scripts for the modders. 3. Garrison/Territorial/Low Level infantry or the ability to have Partisans appear in friendly tiles to represent such units. 4. Destroyers. 5. Better yet, a few free unit slots allowing modders to create their own units! 6. Fix the problem of units being kicked out of (or surrendering in)newly created neutral countries such as Iceland and Vichy. 7. Allow units to retain their action points after deselction. I don't know how many times I have accidentally deselected a unit only to lose the ability to move or attack. 8. Allow units to move into coastal tiles that are designated as sea or land-sea. 9. Reduce the chance of damage from storms at sea. C'mon Hubert, get off your rear, put that beer down, turn off the world cup and get these things fixed! -

Yes, its a different version, lets say 3.01. I got my versions messed up. I am now working on version 4 but I am finally up against the wall of script limitations. Version 4 will also have Edwin and Normal Dude's AIs included. -

OK, Version 3 is uploaded. I added a Croatian militia, a Brazilian corps in 1944 and a few other adjustments. Working on for version 4 (just figuring out how to do it): 1. Annexation of Eastern Poland by Germany as the Polish General Government after they conquer it. 2. Announcement of creation of Ostland and Ukraine Reichskommiserats (sic?) after capture of Kiev and Riga respectively. 3. Reduction in strength of a couple of German corps in the West in the starting OOB. 4. Adjustment to the placement of minor AFs so that Germany has the option of defeating them in the first turn of invasions. (As they did in Yugoslavia, Poland and Greece) 5. Some other minor adjustments. Stay tuned! -

Additional Update as of 11:21 PST. 1. Volksgrenadiers will now arrive as 5 pt corps for Germany in late 1939 and as a very small chance of partisans after invasion of Germany. 2. British Home Guard will activate as partisans in the UK if the Axis leave any cities unoccupied during Sealion.(or afterwards) 3. St. Johns changed back to a city to allow Canadian naval builds after UK moves their government to Halifax. 4. Afghan Mujahadeen partisans. 5. Added Kandahar, port of Le Havre, port of Stettin. 6. German HQ Guderian arrives in 1940. 7. Fixed the Atomic Bomb tech to create maximum damage. US gets a bomb in November 1945. The purchase cost and production delay will now represent the research and development required. 8. Hitler Youth corps arrives when Berlin is threatened. 9. Fixed the Japanese entry and seizure of Diego Suarez scripts. 10. Crete goes to UK after fall of Athens, allowing transport of UK units there instead of need for amphib. Also allows for Greek free units on Crete.
