There are 4 marine uniform mods on CMMODs. 3 seems special force oriented and one is the 3 color mod. I may have to play around with this assuming I am in the right place.... hmm, when you hit shift-esc, you just do it once. You then use the mouse to select pause. you do not use shift esc itself to pause and unpause.

One item for reference. If you hit Shift-esc then you can pause without the text showing - makes for better screen shots. You can also remove hit text as well but that is largely a matter of preference. Some folks like to have that showing.

As Steve has mentioned some of these projects are running in parallel. CMFI is a really worst case example of time and effort. No other title has the issues of the Italian front. I have these visions of Steve using a map of Italy for target practice on his gun range.
