  1. rotflmao, I was looking through clips to get the right mix and I saw the one with Sgt Colbert after the air base seizure. "Gentlemen we just seized an airfield. Pretty f**kin Ninja".
  2. which mod is it? The thread doesn't have an actual link. the 3 color mod appears to be from Chris. Hmm that might explain it - I think I am looking at CMSF 1 mods...errrrrrrrrrr Got it, was under "uncategorized".
  3. Excellent idea - trying it out though and not sure why it isn't showing, but it appears in naming format. Either that or I have the wrong mod. There are 4 marine uniform mods on CMMODs. 3 seems special force oriented and one is the 3 color mod. I may have to play around with this assuming I am in the right place.... Still you are absolutely right, these guys need a little work
  4. There is a discussion on YouTube with the actual principle characters and Evan Wright. The characters are really well represented and the show is just funny as hell sometimes the book is worth reading but the film follows it pretty well
  5. Assassin 2 comes under mortar fire from within the town. The battle for Al Rafai has officially begun.
  6. Hitman 1 calling in arty on an enemy position, deterring the sniper that was drawing a bead on him at the time.
  7. Assassin 3 roars across the canal under the watchful eyes of both Assassin actual (Cpt Patterson) and Godfather (Lt Col Ferrando) Assassin 3 actual (Lt Velasco) gets the first "oh s**t" look at the days objective Al Rafai . They need to push through the town as it's bridge is the only crossing toward their objective Al Kut for another 17 klicks.
  8. as to recommended that is purely a subjective choice. Not sure how many different combinations of sounds mods I have seen over the years.
  9. hmm you didn't try to go through immigration yesterday did you? I'd bet "carrot" would bring the system to it's knees.
  10. hmm, when you hit shift-esc, you just do it once. You then use the mouse to select pause. you do not use shift esc itself to pause and unpause.
  11. One item for reference. If you hit Shift-esc then you can pause without the text showing - makes for better screen shots. You can also remove hit text as well but that is largely a matter of preference. Some folks like to have that showing.
  12. Thar trooper with the grenade has a great arm. May have some Major league recruiters asking about him.
  13. Lol okay fair enough. I wouldn’t however base your expectations entirely on the assumption that CMRT work starts immediately following CMFI. As Steve has mentioned some of these projects are running in parallel. CMFI is a really worst case example of time and effort. No other title has the issues of the Italian front. I have these visions of Steve using a map of Italy for target practice on his gun range.
  14. Well considering what they have done with CMSF2 you have some working parts. Unfortunately the Char B is the flame version. Still...….
  15. and back to screenies. 1st Recon continues to draw enemy fire. Sgt Todd takes his team across the canal to make sure the enemy has been eliminated And engages in a short range firefight with support from Sgt Darling on overwatch
  16. Found it. Most of these units performed well at the company level and below, such as the troops of the Kentucky-based 617th Military Police Company. When ambushed near Salman Pak on March 20, 2005, the 617th Military Police Company responded so ferociously that it routed its attackers, killing 27 insurgents and wounding or capturing 7 others in intense fighting that required the guardsmen to clear two enemy trenches in close combat. One Soldier, Staff Sergeant Timothy Nein, was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross and two others were awarded the Silver Star. One of the Silver Stars was awarded to Sergeant Leigh Ann Hester, who became the first woman to earn the award since World War II and the first woman to earn the medal for close combat. 149 US Army, United States Government. 17. The other thinking at the time was to go for Alexandretta. And no I doubt the original Dardanelles plan was brilliant. The reason the Alexandretta landing was vetoed was France and their concern that any action where they didn't have control risked their losing the opportunity to seize that portion of the Ottoman empire after the war. 18. And you know how long CMRT might have been worked on how?
  19. Interesting. There was a specific small unit action in Iraq in the US Army study about an MP unit caught in a firefight and their aggressive response. Have to see if I can find it again.
