Any one know if this vehicle saw service in France the summer of '44? Jdpz 47 auf 35r http://www.the-blueprints.com/blueprints/tanks/tanks-a/33051/view/47_mm_pak(t)_auf_gw_35r(f)/ -

I would presume he means Ostfront, and Steve's already mentioned the desire to do that. I would bet they have no plans for France 1940 etc as of yet but only the staff or beta testers could answer that and they won't. -

There are a number of running jokes in the Battlefront forums. They include asking for motorcycles and horses, Bren tripods, what grass mod you are using, cows with and without bells, Alize, and Finns with pinecones so don't be surprised if people start joking about your post. But for a serious answer the reason is, even more than a jeep rush, motorcycles would be too often used ahistorically to recon by suicide. PS opps Steve beat me to posting an even better answer. -

Some other possible German vehicles we have in CMFI that we might see in Market-Garden or a Battlepack ( though I don't know the time frames as to if and when they were in Northwest Europe) are the Nashorn, the Grille and the Brumbar. Some one once mentioned Pz IIIs fought at Market-Garden and we've already been told Market-Garden will include the Wirbelwind. -

The British Tetrarch Airbourne tank is a possibility. About 20 were landed by glider with the 6th Airbourne. We also need not limit ourselves to vehicles. I doubt we'll see US Rangers and British Commandos with the Market-Garden Module. They could be added with a Battlepack. Throwing in the Free French is also a good possibility. -

Cats, you're second photo is my Flak Pz 38 I believe. Thanks! Just having some sdkfz 7's around would be good even if the coding to tow 88's and other heavy guns isn't done. I'd also like to see some captured French Vehicles for the German's such as R and H-35's even though there is some debate if they actually saw combat in Normandy. For the allies, in another thread, I mentioned getting the 3/4 ton "Beep" weapons carrier would be fun. Steve also ever so slightly hinted at amphibious vehicles which might mean "seeps" and Schwimmwagens though using them in a tactical assault seems suicidal and I'd rather just have assault boats so we could recreate the 82nd's crossing of the Waal. -

I don't think they'll ever do the Moebelwagen as they would have to do animations of it opening up from travel to firing mode and the crew taking position. A LOT of work for one vehicle. -

Speaking of AA vehicles, we don't know what German AA vehicles Market-Garden will have, but Gustav line had the sdkfz 7/1 and 7/2 and I was wondering why not the 10/4 (unless there never were any in Italy)? I'd rather be in a 10/4 then the 7s if I were near the front line. -

Elmar is getting his Crusader AA tank in Market-Garden so I want the Flak Pz 38 in the Battlepack. Sorry no picture but I know they operated in Normandy. Wouldn't the E-50 and E-75 be more appropriate for a Bulge Family Battlepack? The way I see it the Bulge Family will be basegame, Commonwealth Module and then a module taking us to the end of the war with Pershings and other late war vehicles. A Battlepack there would have prototypes that never made it to the fight. -

Plus IIRC US Airborne TO&E was significantly different in Sept '44 then it was in the June drops. I couldn't tell you about the British Airborne and ground units. Maybe some one else can. -

Yes but what KIND of cows were they? Battlefront does things right and if they don't want to catch hell from the cow-grogs such details are important. -

I don't consider this likely but I thought I'd ask anyway. Will the Free Dutch Princess Irene Brigade be included? They were in XXX Corps (though I believe they were too far back down the road to actually become engaged in fighting in the Market-Garden battle). -

I know it's Elmar's favorite vehicle and I would never ever say don't include a vehicle (well except maybe the Maus) but what was the usage of Crusader AA's in 1944? -

Slavedrivers! Can't you even let them have some time off for the weekend?
-
Yes that makes sense, both strategically and for gameplay reasons as most (but not all) players would prefer to play blue and campaigns are designed around the attacker-though a Russian counter attack campaign would certainly be possible.

I think he means no bundles with the base game to start with. When he says it's twice the size of Gustav I believe he meant it's twice the size of FI.

JH is right. Not as right as Mr. Emrys, but he is still right. -
I thought people might be interested on what day of the week past releases were made: CMSF:Marines Tuesday CMSF:British Forces Wednesday CM:Afghanistan Monday CMSF:NATO Thursday CM:BN Tuesday CM:BN Commonwealth Monday CM:FI Thursday You are free to draw your own conclusions

I've seen your grave in CMBN.

I'll probably have one ready a couple of days after release. I am looking for a new tester!

Do you mean in the likelyhood of their apperance or in your desire to have them in the game? I would hazard at least one USMC brigade being deployed in such a scenario (which, admitedly, is an unlikely war).
