Just to make it clear to me, when we are talking about kit, we're talking about the web gear and/or backpacks soldiers are wearing right?
-
Tagge has chosen the wrong vehicle. That is a steer, not a cow, and it is a Red and White as is obvious by the color and not your typical Holstein. That's what he gets for relying on beta testers for his information.

Any bones and/or progress reports on CM:Normandy?

No holsteins! Haven't we made that clear. Sergei, weren't the tits in Clevingers photos big enough? -
Any bones and/or progress reports on CM:Normandy?
Sequoia replied to Chad Harrison's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 1
Yes we need dead cows as flavor objects but don't make them Holsteins. Holsteins weren't as common in 1944 as they are today, especially in Normandy where there exists a fine breed of cattle know as-get this- the Normande. I think the whole Holstein fixation we have today is due to Hollywood getting cows from the nearest dairy farms in the Chino area of Southern California where most of them are indeed Holsteins. No need to repeat that mistake! -
Is Syrian Equipment Fixed? Same with C2?
Sequoia replied to Taki's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 1
They've all but officially annouced in the next module we'll see Gemans along with probably Canadians and maybe Dutch all in one "NATO" module. For Russians you'll have to wait for the next Modern full game set in a temperate climate where everybody goes to war "just because". This was also all but officially announced, but you'll have to wait until after at least the first WWII game. -
Any "Roll Call" Scenario's out there?
Sequoia replied to Sequoia's topic in CMSF Scenario and Mod Design Forum
Thanks but that's okay. I can make one myself. I was just being lazy and seeing if anyone had already done it. -
Hello Does anyone know of a scenario consisting of one of each available unit type, just so one can look at all of them at once, sort of like walking through a car dealership? Thanks

It's pulling decent reviews with 63 % positive on Rotten Tomatoes, but I wanted to get the Grog opinion.

WW2- or CM Normandy - reality or revision?
Sequoia replied to GSX's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 1
Horses were said to be too much a pain in the butt to model. I'd be happy with a Horsch in addition to the Kubelwagen. -

Let me know when you do that ancient naval warfare sim though. Ramming Speed! -
This is the first module that they have ever "farmed out", so it may take a bit for the new team to get things together.

WW2- or CM Normandy - reality or revision?

Hmm, we have to have the tigers run out of gas and the crews walk back to Germany. -

The last word I heard was D-day itself would not be represented but the initial release would take us through early September- i.e. just before Market-Garden. Commonwealth forces would be introduced in the first module. -
What would you like to see in the British module
Sequoia replied to Greenjacket's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 1
From what I've read, first quarter 2009 if everything goes as planned. This will be the first module released that's not in-house. Does that make it an out-house module? -
Would you want a Israeli module ?
Sequoia replied to urToastman's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 1
I would think even if Canada is using Leopard 1's in Afganistan they would be unlikely to use them in our imaginary invasion of Syria where they would be using what, say a battalion of tanks at the most. (They call their tank battalions armored regiments don't they?) -

I doubt well see a Leopard 1 with the German Module. Does the Bundswehr still use them other than possibly as a training vehicle? -

So once you're online and have been very forthcoming lately .... Any hints as to what the third non WWII subject might be? You once mentioned only two of the first five titles would be WWII. -

A German/Canadian module for CMSF is probably 90% certain at this point I'd say. -

Well you'll get Russians with CMSF II and there was a slight possibility once mentioned by Steve of seeing the French but Battlefront has always said no to the Israelis so far. As Dagon said, they don't consider it viable. -

And with the CMSF modules selling nicely and no outsiders *Cough* Paradox *Cough* presuring them for an early release I'm sure well get a finished product this time. -

I've been looking for an answer to that myself in the news and have found nothing so I assume apparently not. Here's a article for conspiritists: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article4866969.ece -

Is it bad form to bump your own thread? I thought I'd give this one another shot fishing for a response. -

Steve already said we may eventually even see a Maus. Maybe they could do a Centurion as well. Now I'm also thinking what if they did both East and West front modules for the Late war game. Think of the Blue vs Blue matchups you could have. Patton's fantasy.
