  1. It wasn't where they expected it to be. I guess that's why it wasn't found till now. http://www.fresnobee.com/updates/photo/story/909805.html
  2. Yeah Steve has strongly hinted we'll get Canada in module three since they'll have British and German stuff already done so Canada would be an easy add on.
  3. I've heard Battlefront say maybe the Netherlands in the 3rd module but not Denmark, so it's a real longshot. We'll get Leopard IIs with the Germans though. What is a CV9035 or are you going to make me Google it?
  4. Well it will be completly covered if you consider North Africa and Italy the Mediterranean Front as opposed to West Front, but then you have 1940 as well let's not forget. Good lurking by the way.
  5. I'm pretty sure he meant games and not modules. So far that makes 3 WWII games and 2 modern games announced. Maybe they want to keep the 3rd non WWII game secret for a while. Steve has said it won't be pre-20th century whatever it is. Space Lobsters?
  6. Wow, big news. That's the first I've heard of a "Bulge Plus" game so you'll have to pardon me. I remember you once said that only 2 of the first 5 games would be WWII so does that mean your plans have changed or is there something else you guys have up your sleeve?
  7. Battlefront has confirmed at lease two entire WWII games. The first will be France Summer of '44. Some people are calling it Normandy, but the scope will be wider than that actually. You'll have the U.S. vs Germans in the initial release and Commonwealth forces and more German stuff in the first module and even more stuff for everybody in the second module. The second WWII game confirmed is East Front Summer '44 Operation Bagration.
  8. Yep, no 1980's so it won't be Fulda Gap exactly but we will have NATO vs Russia with probably the Chinese as a module all set in a temperate landscape.
  9. Actually Battlefront did say that. CMSF II.
  10. I'm wondering if Battlefront might provide some for CMSF in the future, but also if it's a good idea or not. First if they're used on a map, would that make that scenario unplayable by those who do not own the module whether new forces such as the Brits or used or not? If that is the case, it might not be a good idea to fracture the community for something that does not effect game play no matter how cool some may feel the objects might be. If that's the decision I hope we get a lot more flavor objects right off the bat with the WWII game.
  11. Looks like it might be a late night for you Martin. Perhaps that's why they call you Moon.
  12. A Texan was visiting a Maine farmer. The Texas rancher was boasting to his host about the size of his spread: "I can get into my pickup truck and drive all day and still not reach the boundary of my ranch", he bragged. The Mainer shook his head knowingly, and replied, "Aayuhh, I had a truck like that once"
  13. Don't know, but lets add U.S. airborne to you question.
  14. No Steve, you're still not awake. You gave us Crete with the general CMAK release. I'm playing it now. Greece is the extra you got paid for by the Australian Army. You going to introduce us to the new guys soon?
  15. It's been discussed. Going with Bagration first gets us East Front twice as fast as the German stuff will already have been finished for the France '44 game. I'm good with that. But with that in mind all you WWII fans where should Battlefront go after Normandy and Bagration? Bulge? Kursk? How about Fall of the Reich, Germany Spring '45? One game with U.S. in the base game and Commonwealth and Soviet modules. All the late war stuff plus some prototype vehicles like the Maus. That would also allow Patton fantasy scenarios of West vs Soviets.
  16. I think the Moebelwagen may be given low priority or left out as it was in CMX1 because of the difficulty in animating it. You have to have the flaps raise and lower it changes from travel mode to firing mode. The Ostwind, though much rarer, is such a simple add on once you've done the Wirbelwind, it gets included.
  17. I think we'll have to wait another two years at least until we see the Eastern front, after the France '44 game and CMSF II. Since Sergei has disappeared maybe you can tell us more about how you like to see Finland covered in the Summer '44 Eastern Front game. I've read the Soviets launched a massive attack against the Finns on June 9th '44.
  18. Anyway, I know the Eastern Front is probably 3 games off (after Normandy and CMSF II) but I was wondering what logical break would have to be made between the initial game and later modules. For example with the Nomandy game we're to get U.S and Germans with the initial release. In the first module we'll get Commenwealth and more German stuff (S.S. ?) then the third module maybe Airborne troops for both sides and more rare equipment. With the Eastern Front the breaks will be less clear cut. I imagine we'll get most medium tanks in the initial release and then maybe heavies like the King Tiger and JS II in later modules and even more rare stuff in the 3rd. Any one else have thoughts on this? Steve said no Romanians and Hugarians, but maybe the Finns will sneak in, and by the way what ever happened to Sergei ?
  19. Great news. Hopefully we'll get a Grille too eventualy with it's own model. The model in the CMX1 games was the same as used on the Wespe.
  20. So the Marines Module had Gunny Huntaar as the insider expert beta tester, who fills that role for the Brits?
  21. Opps I got it backwards then. Anyway Steve said we might possibly even see a Maus. I assume this would have to be in a "Fall of the Reich" Game set in spring '45 with US British and Soviet modules. That would be excellent.
  22. As I understand it once you add in all the modules and various potential games for the Western front we might have more stuff than what we had with CMBO. East Front might not be so lucky with coverage and we may never have the coverage we got with CMBB so if you want Romanians and Hungarians you'll have to stick with that game. Taking the Ferdinand for example, I don't know if it was ever used on the Western Front. I know the Elefant was used at Kursk. I don't know if reworked Ferdinands were used during Bagration. For the Western Front though we might see rare stuff such as the British Tetrarch or the German Flak Panzer 38.
  23. So when will Battlefront introduce us to the new people they are supposed to be bringing on board? That way Rune doesn't have to be the new guy any more.
