"Elite" works just fine for me. "Iron" is not my cup of tea. Jmo. -

Good book. I have a collection of most of those Stackpole Books (Panzer Aces, II & III, Michael Wittmann vol. I&II, Armor Battles Of The Waffen SS 43-45, Grenadiers, Infantry Aces, etc), all good reads. -

Beautiful destruction for sure. Some input... - My system specs are in my sig. - I left all my mods in the "z" folder and added yours into it... Figured if I am going to test this I might as well test it "fully loaded". - The first time loading the scenario took around 3 min. - Gave every unit a move command for over half of the map. Pressing the Go button, "Go" bar took around 10 seconds. each time so far (9 turns). - I have everything cranked graphically and I am experiencing some slow down of video play and when moving my mouse around, not much and bearable (probably tweak-able). My video card is not the greatest, GTX 650 Ti 1.5 GB (I wanted to upgrade my card soon anyways). - Save times are like instant, 3 seconds. This is after 9 turns. - No crashes. - Unlike Erwin and others, I have no issues with the "Billiard table" effect. Reminds me of a large miniature wargaming table. Nor do I mind viewing the map from any view level. Love the horizon destructed buildings, good effect. I will try out several more turns and report back at some point. -

Erwin, I assume you missed this post /link that I posted for you a page ago in this thread? Give this a try, it is free so... http://www.battlefront.com/community/showpost.php?p=1555199&postcount=95 -
Yes a typo, sorry.

Oh no no, I meant in general. I haven't even played this scenario as of yet.

The German's firing their 88's unlimbered was a real capability and should be in the system then as well… See where I am going with this? Just have some of the Ruskies lighter tanks driving along with you, when they get brewed up, instant smokes screens.

Erwin, have you tried Razer Cortex - Performance Enhancing Launcher? Link: http://www.razerzone.com/cortex You might be able to cut out some of the stuttering issues, maybe all, by using it to launch CM (and other games). Maybe not so much for this test scenario, but for other scenarios if you are experiencing stuttering issues with them. You may be able to get another year or two out of your present system using it. Worth a shot since it is a free download. It's that little blue pill for those old cpu's out there (and even the new ones). Sorry, not trying to hijack the thread, however this could be a useful link for anyone. This program helped me out when a flight sim, WOFF, was causing stuttering issues with my rig. -
Then why defend? I love turning it around on the attacker with a well setup /planned counterattack. Sometimes attacking before the "attacker" attacks. Of course force composition sometimes can limit this, however this is also when you can catch the "attacker" off guard by hitting him on the nose when not expecting it.

Combat Mission Commander (Campaign Tool)

I wonder if there is a way to convert /edit /revamp RobO's Quick Campaign Generator Excel spreadsheet for the book keeping purposes and incorporate it into this? For anyone that may be interested, you can locate the files at CMMODS under both CMAK and CMBB - RobO is the author. His spreadsheet took care of all bookkeeping and setup battles to be played out via QB in CMBB and CMAK. It is a great creation. -

That is what I have been (and many others) waiting for since CMx1. I mostly play the AI so that would be an ideal creation at some point. Oh well. -

Love the "Total War" concept. Just curious, will there be an AI opponent available with this, like the "Total War" series? That would be fantastic. -

Is there no way to say use part of the spreadsheets from RobO's quick campaign generator from the CMx1 series? Just curious if that could help with the labour involved.
