Hm i dont have the game yet but i think that in SC 2 as axis player you have to decide weather to push in the north or south as both is hardly possible. With most of the goodies i would rather heavily defend the south but the north as allied player. But as your early attack will surprise some guys others will be prepared...i think this alsway will depend from your opponent and from your opponent skills and if your opponent will know your gameplay Another thing...is it really worth to DOW russia? I see no sense for that anymore as there is no surprise effect anymore....and ....how much is the increase of the USA readyness?

Since they are only vulnerable mostly to cruisers as battleships and carriers dont do the damage like in SC 1 anymore you have to save your cruisers and search subs with battleships. In the case of Liam western allies ARE out of the war...as his fleet is gone ...as allied player you have the realize very early if axis is going for subs as ASW research is to late if most of your ships are gone.

Yeah already wrote in another tread....when axis player is going for subwar the western allies are out of the war as the subs are much stronger than in SC 1.....i guess rambo will love SC2

The insane hits dished by high supplied units is also a bit a problem as even high expierenced units are killed with just 2 hits....which will change the gameplay in comparison to SC 1. Beside from tech,supply,diplo SC 2 is very similar to Panzergeneral 1 a great game which is meanwhile 16 years old. Dont get me wrong when i mean similar i mean this under respect of the tactical and strategical gameplay. I just play it as it is a good training for SC 2 in case i will finally buy it.

Well honestly said its not our task to chance such prinzipals of the game....i wanna play SC not HOI where one can change every script, every save file using mods etc..... vanilla SC campagne which can be used as it is for competition with rules that make sense and were used in SC 1 too. In this respect the playtesters failed as several things in SC2 are really odd and their responsibility is also to inform hubert about the flaws in the game.....this is not to insult you only a bit critism.

@Hellraiser seems u are rite. 600 MPP at the start the game are far more worth as just the 600 ...as it prevents early diplo investment, early tech investment ...this is affecting the whole game, the outcome of the game can be affected by this f###ing plunder. In a game where you have to count every MPP.

The problem why ppl will rather sacrify the whole french army is beside the huge difference in plunder that according to the new rules not only ships have a 20 % chance of becoming free french but also landunits now have only a 20 % chance. In SC 1 you you got the units you saved but now? The 20 % rule is a waste and senseless as now nobody will ever try to save any unit.....this is really an annoying new rule..... Generally said the french campange lost alot of its former exitement and fun....and interesting strategies.

Well you have to see this in another way...by doing this they are killing numerous german armies. The range in MPP earned by plunder is from 350 - 1100 for france i noticed by playing the demo....dunno for poland. In that way germany is loosing 3 armies at least which cost 200 each Afaik.

I just you see evertime crying when ppl wanna load tranports for sniffing or other odd sea acitivities...or rules for sea acivities.....this doesnt help them at all. Tell it or tell it not ...it will be unrevealed in any case....but i dont understand the sense in keeping it hidden.

Blashy as long you keep the secret why you wont never play with that rule ppl will play the rules they think they are best suited. I would recommand you to tell them the truth not talking always in riddles ....you are betatester ..dont need any advantage.

Kuni i cant stop laughing about your post..its great ..i think we will have alot of fun with SC2 even we cant play it currently. I feel the smack coming soon....the first padlocks the first bans.

I think we should not worry about grazy tactics but rather about gamey moves which could influence the game balance. Dowing USA as Allied or Italy as Germany is maybe fun in a single player game but nobody will do that in a MP.

Can you sent me a demo of that game or is it a song then send me a tape. :cool:

Well who is talking about last minute disbanding? It´s obvious not me, But better then sending a scraping would make sense to me. Maybe not early maybe not in the last minute but in the middle lies the truth of the riddle. I seltdom read the manual, and often it confuses me, better testing on myself as the manuals riddles, remain unrevealed so often. Often you get a hint, but nobody will know for sure the meaning of the words until somebody will enlighten you.

Well with just 20 % chance to survive this might be even better then shipping to uk....and to reduce german plunder by 700 is like destroying 3 armies.....odd thing in any case ROFL

Hehe... An amazing difference is the new plunder rule ...i had results from 440 MPP by anhilating the whole french army to 1100 MPP when just wiping out one unit.

The rule is working exacly like in SC 1 ..methinks that you had bad weather (mud)

No there is no penatly then anymore....if you get the kill the other unit can move its full movement points.

Martin it seems you will have to emigrate to germany. If you ask me if it is confirmed then i have to say yes .....i defenitely know from 5 ppl already owing the boxed SC 2....sorry for all ppl here waiting for the game...i know i m a bastard LOL I dont own it already btw
