Woohoo pre ordered love to know how quick the CE will sellout and how many.
-
The short answer is yes to both but morale will never fully recover during the time limit the battles are fought over, the unit will always be fragile under fire once it's morale has collapsed once. As for getting tired a rest for a couple of turns is usually enough for them to recover most of there fitness again. I am sure others will give you a more detailed answer but this is how I think it works.

Misidentified Units Back In?
born2lose replied to Lanzfeld's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
Not having been in the Army I am not sure whether i am right here, but surely now a days with modern comms if a US tank did spot an enemy tank it probably wouldnt be long before the whole army knew where it was, although it might take a bit longer than a mil sec to do it in real life i am sure within the scope of CMSF all your forces in the game would def know about it very quickly. -
Me thinks you need to read a few more posts before posting, as you will get all the answers you need to your statements. And I have a feeling I may be feeding a troll so I will step away now

I think you will not see any more screenshots, video or even blogs regarding CM:N untill a few weeks after NATO is released, so your Man flu may have to last a bit longer
-
No as Nato is still based in Syria and Steve has said frequently that that euro and winter terrain is for when they re visit Modern war in a future version, unless you want to count the euro and winter terrain in forthcomming CM:N. BF have always said each version of CM2 and its modules will stick to its theatre and respective terrains.
-
Scott CM:N will be the same as CMSF just based on WWII in Europe after Normandy landings, there has never been any suggestion it would have anything that CMC was gonna have before it was shut down, Steve has always said that that sort of strat layer was not worth the investment at present.

Help-BAF DLC Not Installing
born2lose replied to choowee's topic in Combat Mission: Shock Force Tech Support
Are you talking about the expansion to ARMA2 ? if so you have wrong forums you need bohemia's web site and forums me thinks -
Honestly!!! no its not the campaign is bugged to hell even after a load of patches not sure if the brit expansions improves it much, but this is a game thats really been developed for online play with single player given less priority. And this is from someone who has logged 100's of hours playing this game I love it but only as an online game against other humans.

I love Steam tbh I have had it since HL2 was released and have over 50 games on it now, I don't quite understand what your saying Erwin Steam doesnt try to sell you another service to run your Game, Steam is a free download you could say its just another type of DRM. And I too at 40years old am a member of that juvinile twitch game loving FPS playing crowd with my current favouite being BF2 bad company and I worked out the other day I have now been playing games on a computer for nearly 27 years now that does make me feel old.
-
I think the stock answer will be no, TOW has more than one publisher and is on Steam under a differant name i think. But BFC have always said in the past that they don't benefit from selling there game's on Steam or any other download platform other than there own, due to the cost's involved i.e the % that steam take from every sale.
-
Can i add this side note, the above is a very bad habit when developing any product, don't get sidetracked you need to be disciplined with your focus have a goal work towards then move to something else or you end up with loads of broken promises or ideas, or a half working game.
-
Ah Microprose sims and manuals I still have the original manual for Falcon 4.0 and its over 250 pages long and I still use it with the updated version of the game released 2 years ago by a company i can't mention here

Is this all linked to my third post on this thread http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=92683 I made in tech support, I pay $45 for a copy of the game i didnt need and all of a sudden BF.C recruits another programmer ??? Wow i feel sorry for him if all he's being paid is $45 Anyhow congrats on the new job I assume you don't like sunlight as most programmers I know in the games industry never see Sunlight.... Corrupt file on Install
born2lose replied to born2lose's topic in Combat Mission: Shock Force Tech Support
Thank you for your help problem solved, turned off microsoft secuirty essentials and lo and behold the game and its modules installed perfectly, one to remember for the future, funny how it's only effected your games and noone elses, but that could be to do with everything else I have comes via valves Steam. Anyway someone at BF.C will have a few extra beers on me now as before I posted here I repurchased the CMSF and marines bundle thinking when my PC broke I corrupted the files, So enjoy as this is one company I would never begrudge giving to much money too. -
Corrupt file on Install
born2lose replied to born2lose's topic in Combat Mission: Shock Force Tech Support
Further to my above I am running install file as administrator and I have had no issues with any other files i have down loaded from other sites. -
Ok I have built a new PC with an i5 and win7 64bit OS, on my old pc CMSF ran fine no issues what so ever, but when i transferd the install file over and tried to install all of the game and modules I keep getting corrupt files, I am even getting this when i try and instal the brit module from the CD. I have have now re downloaded all the file's again from battlefront but when I try to install I am again getting the following message "install stopped due to corrupt file, CMSF/DATA/Version100.brz no matter how many times I try it still refuses to install I have even tried downloading again and still no joy. If I press ignore message game installs but each module comes up with a similar message with the brit module it says the 120.brz file is corrupt and this is being loaded from original CD which is only 6 months old and was fine on old PC. Anyone any ideas what is causing this issue ??????
