Hi Guys Looking to get some PBEM going I would prefer CMBS patched to 1.01 but would also consider CMBN or CMFI I have all the modules for both. Also you must be using CM Helper with drop box as it makes it easier to keep track of turns. I prefer scenarios over QB's and self set up battles but would consider anything if it gets a game going. Hi Ladies and gents I would like some more people to play PBEM games against I have both CMBN with commonwealth Mod and CMFI, I use drop box and H2h for the turns and would like players who can stick around for more than 2 turns even if they are losing if possible please If anyone interested just Pm me here with an e-mail address and we will get it on as they say.

CMFI was released with 2.0 upgrades already included.

They never do pre order for Digital download only as you can buy it on the day it's released. The discount is just for the hard goods not the digital download it's self.

I have never played any level other than elite and i win as much as I lose so i reckon a good level for me

well I am 42 this year and as you can see from how long i have been a member of this forum i have been around this game since CMBO which i bought after a review in PC gamer back in early 2003. Oh and i worked out the other day I have been playing games on a computer of some shape or form since i was 12 so nearly 30 years now

I am still look for opponents I was able to get my last PBEM to work with my version 2.0 i also use latest version of H2HH

Hmm making rather a big issue over something that tbh is a very small thing especially on the very long list of things to be done that BFC probably has, and considering they only have 2 programers to do all this you may have a long wait. I hope your not becomming one of those if you don't change this feature ill never buy your product type.

I expect the manual thing is to try and protect there work, as they would prefer you to buy the game and get the clean and fresh manual than rely on the free demo version. I would expect a lot of the so called glitches are due to the fact this is a demo version and is probably not the same as the Gold version they will release to paying customers and by that i mean it may have been an earlier final candidate version than the gold will be.

Yea but it doesnt prevent you from giving it to someone else, or someone else just copying it, as the only way someone in law enforcement would know you shouldnt have it is if they knew your name and knew that you had copied the document without permission The idea behind DRM is to prevent the theft of copyright from start.

yes you do and that is a downside but you hear less issues with the way Steam does it than with other intrusive DRM's.

I prefer to support both tbh, i have over 30 games on Steam and love the ease of access and the service Valve offer, but i also believe the future of gaming in general would be a very dark place without the independents out there who more than most push the boundries of all genre in ways most large publishing companies wouldnt be willing to take the financial risk in doing. I think there is room for both and in a way Steam helps a lot of independants by allowing them to sell there products through a delivery system that has over 30 million accounts. I am not saying it is perfect as Valve wouldnt be offering the service if there wasn't a profit in it for them but it helps.

I upgrade every 2 years and I find it difficult to get upset about this as well, i do think a lot of these posts are being created to cause an argument and not because there is a genuine issue.

Err its a computer program i can't see how it can't be anything but artificail unless charles has developed a way of us feeling the effects as well (Might explain why we have waited so long for release)

I standby what i said earlier re this post but maybe remove the bit about Trolls, There are always going to be things that people expect in a game but i think its how you ask which makes the difference and i think the tone of the request and follow ups is way out of proportion to what is being asked and its efffect on the game.

Ah the days of large manuals I remember them well, I still have the original Falcon 4 manual from Microprose in all its 600+ page glory, came into its own when it was rereleased a few years back as allied force, and they only let you have a poor 30 page guide, you can't read PDF's in a bath .

I do have to ask myself why are some many little things such a big deal to people, in the scheme of things looking at all the effort BFC have put into this latest edition of the game to make a big issue over somehting as small as move able waypoints i think is a bit much. especially when the game isnt even out yet. But hey maybe i am unique in the fact i judge the product as a whole not just on one feature and i at least want to wait to play it first before passing judgement. But then again maybe i am just feeding the forum trolls who knows !!!!!!
