Nice site Kingfish! You really are the Man! -
Yeah, I sent you the wrong scenario files didn't I... I'll have to check my back up discs but I'm pretty sure I'd have it. If I had 'Squeezing the Melon' I'd have the files you sent me for Wolf...

Richie replied to Bigduke6's topic in Combat Mission - Scenario Talk
I'm still designing... Most of what I've done has been for the Stalingrad Campaign of late. Stalingrad Station 1-i The Grain Elevator, Stalingrad and The Heart of Stalingrad for a Tourney over at We Band of Brothers These battles take place in downtown Stalingrad... I'm still working on a number of other scenarios and I'm soon to upload a couple more to the depot... -

Sign if still playing CMBB online

There's 251 member's at We Band of Brothers. Several Tournaments and Campaigns are structured around CMBB in H2H play. QB's are rampant. If you want it... it's there... you just gotta know where to look. -
You need to get someone to sponsor you into We Band of Brothers...

Good book on German operations in the Ardennes?

Richie replied to Aragorn2002's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
Yup, pride, bizarre, pathological vehemence... Um, obsessiveness... whatever... We can only do our best. Anyway, Thanks for the pointer Aragorn2002, I'll try and chase that book up at some stage. You might try 'Men of Steel, the 1st SS Panzer Corps' by Michael Reynolds if you don't already own it. Also, the 12th SS volumes 1 and 2 in the Stackpole range by Hubert Meyer are quite good and they deal with the region at times. Osprey's 'Ardennes 1944' Campaign series #5 ain't so bad as an overview... Or, 'SS-Leibstandarte' by Rupert Butler for the same. I'm currently reading 'Grenadiers' by Kurt Meyer in the Stackpole series... I figure it might get around to the Ardenne at some stage. Good read so far! -

"The Devil's Adjutant" by Michael Reynolds is quite good. Focused on Peiper it give a good account of his actions. -
"Retreat from Metemma" & "Firefight '40" from ROW IV... I'll email these to both of you if you haven't already tracked them down. My email is in my profile PS: Thanks to all for the kind words with Tiger Valley

any good book recomendation for stalingrad ?
Richie replied to redbear's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
'Stalingrad, The Vital 7 Days' by Will Fowler, ISBN 1-904687-28-8 is quite good, albiet abridged and an overview, but some of the maps and photos are excellent and rarely seen elsewhere... Some of the accounts are fairly unique too. Lot's of 'perspective'. -
7 minutes is usually pretty good... 10 at the most. If your playing the excellent Villa's of Tuscany you might need 15...
